Greetings Aubrey, America! As we kick off this new school year, I am excited about the many opportunities available to our students and have high expectations, as I’m sure you do. We’ve set new goals to improve academic opportunities for our students and to close the achievement gaps providing all students a greater rate of success. My focused intention is on commitment, collaboration and trustworthiness in order to ensure the most effective learning environment for our children. We recognize that quality education is not merely a destination but a journey. We will continue to challenge ourselves and accept nothing less than every child learning to the best of his/her ability. I also believe we have a diverse group of educators and program sponsors who are capable of connecting with our students and guiding them to success. As our community continues to grow, we will make every effort to improve your child’s educational experience through additional programs, activities, classes and opportunities. As a district, we are also finding new ways to make an effort to reach out more to our parents and our communities. Here at Aubrey ISD, we believe that parent involvement in our schools is crucial. Positive role models, parent participation and community involvement are integral. We will continue to update you often through our social media, email, phone and text messages, as well as school and community meetings and bulletins. Your opinions, ideas and overall understanding of school district policies are important to the educational process. I invite you to contact the schools should you need any information or have ideas to support our ongoing quest for educational excellence. I plan to continue the open door relationship you have come to know, so please feel free to call me with ideas, concerns, or questions you may have. Looking forward to a great year at Aubrey ISD as we accomplish great things together.
