Michigan Transfer Agreement approved courses have been evaluated by sending institution to align with U-M distribution requirements. The Office of Undergraduate Admissions’ Michigan Transfer Agreement guide is provided to help in transfer planning. Although there are not frequent changes to course articulations, the articulations are subject to change at the end of each semester. Therefore, students should check the guide each semester before registering for classes.

Distribution requirements vary between U-M academic schools and colleges. Ross BBA students are required to complete THREE of the following four distribution requirements: • Humanities (HU) = 9 credits (One additional course required after transfer) • Natural Sciences and/or Mathematical and Symbolic Analysis (NS/MSA) = 9 credits (Completed with MTA as prescribed above) • Social Sciences (SS) = 9 credits (Two additional courses required after transfer) • Foreign Language Proficiency = Fourth-term proficiency in a foreign language is determined by successful completion of a proficiency examination administered by U-M, or by completion of a fourth-semester college-level foreign language course. AP coursework which meets fourth-term proficiency fulfills this requirement. (NOT required if other three areas are chosen)
