Die GRUR Jahrestagung bietet seit jeher Gelegenheit zu fachlichem Austausch und persönlicher Begegnung. In Vorträgen, Podiums - diskussionen und Kolloquien behandeln Experten aktuelle Fragen aus den von der Vereinigung vertretenen Fachgebieten. Nachdem wir die GRUR Jahrestagung im vergangenen Jahr wegen der COVID-19 Pandemie leider absagen mussten, stehen wir auch in diesem Jahr vor besonderen Herausforderungen.

Niemand weiß, ob die Impfbemühungen von Bund und Ländern im Spätsommer soweit gediehen sind, dass wir eine Fachkonferenz wie die GRUR Jahrestagung wie gewohnt als Präsenzveranstaltung werden durchführen können.

Selbst wenn die Impflage dies hergibt, ist nicht sicher, ob alle interessierten Teilnehmer nach Bonn fahren können oder wollen, um ihre Kolleginnen und Kollegen zu treffen. Andererseits kann es aber durchaus sein, dass viele von Ihnen nach Bonn fahren möchten, sobald dies irgendwie möglich ist, weil Sie die ganz besondere persönliche Atmosphäre und den persönlichen Austausch der GRUR Jahrestagung genießen und endlich Ihre Kolleginnen und Kollegen wiedersehen möchten.

Daher haben wir uns für dieses Jahr etwas Besonders überlegt, um die Jahrestagung in jedem Fall durchführen zu können.

Und zwar mit dem „HYBRID-Format“. Dies bedeutet: „Eine Anmeldung – zwei Formate“.

Wir bieten Ihnen Folgendes an:

Dies entscheidet sich nach der Reihenfolge der Anmeldungen – eine frühzeitige Anmeldung lohnt sich in jedem Fall. Falls Sie sich zu spät angemeldet haben sollten, falls die pandemische Lage Ihre persönliche Teilnahme vor Ort sonstwie ausschließt oder falls Sie aus anderen Gründen an der Teilnahme in Bonn verhindert sind, nehmen Sie automatisch online teil. • Wir informieren Sie über Ihren Präsenzplatz entsprechend der behördlichen Lageeinschätzung, sobald diese für unseren Veranstal- tungszeitraum verbindlich bekannt gegeben ist und Sie geben uns innerhalb von drei Tagen Bescheid, ob Sie nach Bonn kommen möchten oder ob Sie doch lieber ausschließlich online teilnehmen möchten. The GRUR Annual Meeting has always been an opportunity for a professional exchange of views and personal encounters. In speeches, podium debates and symposiums, experts address current issues in the specialist areas represented by GRUR. After the unfortunate cancellation of the GRUR Annual Meeting last year owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, the year 2021 also poses particular challenges.

It is still unclear whether the vaccination efforts at a national and regional level will have progressed to such an extent in early autumn that we will be able to hold a professional conference like the GRUR Annual Meeting as usual as an in-person event.

Even if the vaccination situation is favourable, it is not certain whether all interested participants will be able or willing to travel to Bonn in order to meet their colleagues. On the other hand, it is quite possible that many of you will want to travel to Bonn as soon as it is feasible because you wish to enjoy the particular personal atmosphere and the personal exchange of views at the GRUR Annual Meeting, and finally wish to see your colleagues again.

We therefore drew up a special concept for 2021 in order to hold the GRUR Annual Meeting.

Which will take place in a “HYBRID format”. This means: “One registration – two formats”.

What we offer:

• We have planed the Annual Meeting as usual, but keep a parallel online format for the main programme, the welcome evening and a very selected part of the social programme. 7 • You register for the Annual Meeting. • When registering, you can choose whether you wish to attend in person in Bonn or exclusively online. • If you decide to attend in Bonn, you will be allocated a place if there is sufficient capacity on site due to the pandemic situation and you have registered early. This is decided according to the order of registration - early registration is worthwhile in any case. If you have registered too late, if the pandemic situation otherwise precludes your personal participation on site or if you are prevented from attending in Bonn for other reasons, you will automatically participate online.

• We will inform you about your attendance place according to the official situation assessment as soon as this is bindingly announced for our event period and you will let us know within three days whether you would like to come to Bonn or whether you would prefer to participate exclusively online. If you do not wish to come to Bonn, we will allocate your free place to subsequent participants. • If you decide to participate exclusively online, it is very easy for you: you are assured of your place from the start and do not have to worry about anything. • We will indicate separately in the programme booklet for all items on the annual meeting programme whether the respective event will be held exclusively in attendance and/or online format. • If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the DeutscheAnwaltAkademie. Führung Beethoven Haus

Das Museum im Geburtshaus Ludwig van Beethovens zählt zu den meistbesuchten Musikermuseen der Welt Preis: € 25,00 und zu den 100 beliebtesten Sehenswürdigkeiten in Deutschland. Seit Dezember 2019 präsentiert sich das Teilnehmer: mind. 10 Museum mit einer neuen und räumlich erweiterten Dauerausstellung. Es lädt zu einer erlebnisorientierten und Treffpunkt: 10.10 Uhr am emotionalen Begegnung mit dem Künstler und Menschen Beethoven ein. Tagungscounter in der Lobby Schon beim Betreten des Innenhofes fühlt sich der Besucher durch das historische Ambiente des Hauses in Beethovens Zeit versetzt. Tiefere Einsicht in Leben und Werk des großen Komponisten gewährt der geführte Rundgang durch die Museumsräume. Über 100 originale Ausstellungsstücke reflektieren Beethovens Denken und Fühlen, Arbeiten und Wirken. Schon in den ersten Jahren nach der Gründung des Vereins Beethoven-Haus 1889 konnten so berühmte Stücke wie Beethovens letzter Hammerflügel (ein Instrument des Wiener Klavierbauers Conrad Graf) oder die Originalhandschriften der „Mondscheinsonate“ und der „Pastoralsinfonie“ erworben werden. Heute besitzt das Beethoven-Haus die größte und vielseitigste Beethoven-Sammlung der Welt. Sie umfasst Musikhandschriften, Briefe, Musikinstrumente, Möbel und Gegenstände aus Beethovens Alltag sowie eine kunsthistorische Samm- lung mit Bildern, Büsten, Münzen, Medaillen und Briefmarken. Führung Kanzlerbungalow

Der Kanzlerbungalow in Bonn gehört zu den herausragenden Bauten der deutschen Nachkriegsmoderne. Preis: € 10,00 Ludwig Erhard beauftragte den Architekten Sep Ruf 1963 mit der Planung des Kanzlerbungalows als Wohn- Teilnehmer: mind. 10 und Empfangsgebäude für die Bundeskanzler der Bundesrepublik Deutschland. Treffpunkt: Ruf entwarf eine sachlich moderne, transparente Architektur und unterstrich damit die Funktion des Hauses 10.15 Uhr / 10.50 Uhr / 12.15 Uhr als Ort der Begegnung und des Gesprächs. Nach Erhard nutzten Kurt Georg Kiesinger, Willy Brandt, Helmut am Tagungscounter in der Lobby Schmidt, Helmut Kohl und kurze Zeit auch Gerhard Schröder den Bungalow. Bis auf Willy Brandt und Gerhard Achtung: Für die Führung müssen Schröder, denen das Gebäude nur für repräsentative Veranstaltungen und Gespräche diente, hatten alle Kanzler Sie einen gültigen Personalausweis hier ihren Bonner Wohnsitz. vorzeigen! Das seit dem Regierungsumzug 1999 leerstehende Gebäude wurde 2001 unter Denkmalschutz gestellt. Die Wüstenrot Stiftung nahm 2006 den Kanzlerbungalow in ihr Denkmalprogramm für die Erhaltung und Revitali- sierung besonderer Bauten der Moderne auf. 2007 begann auf Basis einer Machbarkeitsstudie der Stiftung Haus der Geschichte die bauliche Instandsetzung und Sanierung, die Arbeiten wurden Anfang 2009 abgeschlossen. Seit Mai 2009 steht der Kanzlerbungalow der Öffentlichkeit zur Verfügung. Eine kleine Ausstellung des Hauses der Geschichte mit ausgewählten Exponaten, Dokumenten und Fotos informiert Besuchergruppen über die Bundeskanzler und die Nutzung des Gebäudes. Zudem bietet das Haus regelmäßige Begleitungen durch das “Wohnzimmer der Macht” und ermöglicht Besucherinnen und Besuchern Einblicke in die repräsentativen und privaten Räume. Der Kanzlerbungalow ist nach wie vor ein „Highlight“ im Besuchsprogramm. Termine sind oft wochenlang im Voraus ausgebucht.

Guided tour of Chancellor’s Bungalow

The Chancellor’s Bungalow in Bonn is one of the outstanding buildings of German post-war modernism. In Price: € 10.00 per person 1963 Chancellor Ludwig Erhard commissioned the architect Sep Ruf to plan the Chancellor’s Bungalow as a Participants: at least 10 residential and reception building for the chancellors of the Federal Republic of Germany. Meeting point: Ruf designed a clinically modern, transparent architecture which thus underscored the function of the bungalow 10.15 / 10.50 / 12.15 h as a forum for meetings and discussions. Italien – spätestens seit Goethes Reise (1786–88) Sehnsuchtsziel und Inbegriff eines paradiesischen Arkadiens Preis: € 20,00 für „Nordländer“! Allein die Fülle der Kunstwerke in den Kirchen, Palazzi und Museen zog Bildungsreisende, aber Teilnehmer: mind. 10 auch Künstlerinnen und Künstler aus der ganzen Welt an. Daneben lockten die südliche Sonne, die mediterrane Treffpunkt: 13.00 Uhr am Landschaft, das gute Leben. Auch wenn Paris zu Beginn des 20. Jahrhunderts zur Kunstmetropole Europas Tagungscounter in der Lobby avancierte, blieb Italien für die junge Künstlergeneration ein begehrtes Reiseziel – zumal, wenn dies mit einem Stipendium in den deutschen Künstlerhäusern, der Villa Romana in Florenz oder der Villa Massimo in Rom verbunden war. Beide Einrichtungen formierten sich 1905 bzw. 1910 – in der Hochzeit des Expressionismus. So kamen etwa Karl Schmidt-Rottluff, Helmuth Macke oder Max Peiffer Watenphul als Stipendiaten nach Rom. In der von Max Klinger erworbenen Villa Romana arbeiteten u. a. Ernst Barlach, Max Beckmann, Dora Hitz oder Hans Purrmann. August Macke, Erich Heckel, Max Pechstein und Walter Ophey erkundeten vor Ausbruch des Ersten Weltkriegs auf eigene Faust Italien. Wassily Kandinsky und Gabriele Münter verbrachten kostbare Monate der Zweisamkeit an der ligurischen Küste. Weitere Künstlerpaare, wie Gertrud Alber-Eberz und Josef Eberz oder Maria Caspar- Filser und Karl Caspar entdeckten gemeinsam die italienische Landschaft rund um Florenz, an der Amalfi-Küste oder in Umbrien. In Positano entstand in den frühen zwanziger Jahren eine quirlige Künstlerkolonie, in der sich u. a. Anita Rée, Carlo Mense oder Richard Seewald niederließen. Adolf Erbslöh malte dort heroisch-pathetische Landschaften – vergleichbar mit den monumentalen Kompositionen seines Freundes Alexander Kanoldt. Für Werner 28 Gilles, Hans Kuhn oder Eduard Bargheer wurde Italien zur zweiten Heimat. Erstmals widmet sich eine Ausstellung den Italienreisen der deutschen Künstlerinnen und Künstler zwischen 1905 und 1933: Expressionistische Dramatik und neusachliche Kühle – beide Temperaturlagen finden sich in der Ausein- andersetzung mit dem Land, seinen Städten und Orten, seinen Leuten, seiner Landschaft und seinen Legenden. Die Ausstellung mit ca. 100 Gemälden, Papierarbeiten, Fotografien und Skulpturen von 30 Künstlerinnen und Künstlern zwischen 1905 und 1933 macht die große Bedeutung Italiens für die deutsche Avantgarde eindrucks- voll sichtbar.

Der Empfang der Rechts- und Patentanwälte der Bezirksgruppe West findet in diesem Jahr im Kunstmuseums Kunstmuseum Bonn Bonn statt. Museumsmeile 1992 ist der Neubau des Kunstmuseums Bonn eingeweiht worden. Mit der wegweisenden Architektur des Helmut-Kohl-Allee 2 Berliner Architekten Axel Schultes setzt es einen städtebaulichen Akzent. Künstlerisch steht es für die wichtig- 53113 Bonn ste Sammlung deutscher Kunst nach 1945 und für die klassische Moderne rund um August Macke. Guided tour of August Macke House

Italy – since Goethe’s travels (1786-88) the cherished travel destination and embodiment of an arcadian paradise Price: € 20.00 per person for “Northerners.” The sheer abundance of artworks in churches, palaces, and museums attracted culturally Participants: at least 10 interested travelers as well as artists from around the world. Other enticements were the sunny climate, Mediter- Meeting point: 13.00 h at the ranean landscapes, and “the good life.” While Paris ascended to the rank of Europe’s principal art metropolis in conference counter in the lobby the early 20th century, Italy remained a coveted travel destination for the younger generation of artists – especially if financing was available from a grant awarded by the German-funded art establishments Villa Romana in Florence or Villa Massimo in Rome. These institutions were founded in 1905 and 1910 at the height of Expres- sionism. August Macke, Erich Heckel, Max Pechstein, and Walter Ophey toured through Italy on their own before the outbreak of the First World War. Wassily Kandinsky and Gabriele Münter spent treasured months together on the Ligurian coast. Other artist couples such as Gertrud Alber-Eberz with Josef Eberz and Maria Caspar-Filser with Karl Caspar explored the Italian countryside around Florence, along the Amalfi Coast and in Umbria. In the early 1920s a lively artist colony developed in Positano, where Anita Rée, Carlo Mense and Richard Seewald settled. Adolf Erbslöh painted heroic-dramatic landscapes in Positano – comparable to the monumental compositions of his friend Alexander Kanoldt. Italy became a home away from home for Werner Gilles, Hans Kuhn, and Eduard 29 Bargheer. For the first time an exhibition focuses on the Italian travels of German artists between 1905 and 1933: Expres- sionist drama and New Objectivism – both dispositions may be found in the artists’ dialogue with the country, its towns and places, people, countryside and legends. With some 100 paintings, works on paper, photographs, and sculptures created by 30 artists between 1905 and 1933, the exhibition impressively accentuates the importance of Italiy for German avant-garde artists.

This year, the reception of lawyers and patent attorneys of the Regional Group West will be held in the Bonn Kunstmuseum Bonn Museum of Modern Art. Museumsmeile The new building of the Bonn Museum of Modern Art was opened in 1992. The exceptional architecture of the Helmut-Kohl-Allee 2 Berlin architect Axel Schulte has made the building into an urban landmark. The Museum houses one of the 53113 Bonn most important collections of post-1945 German art, representing classical modernism based on the works of Arrival / departure: individual approx. 1.7 km walk August Macke. Der Kanzlerbungalow in Bonn gehört zu den herausragenden Bauten der deutschen Nachkriegsmoderne. Preis: € 20,00 pro Person Ludwig Erhard beauftragte den Architekten Sep Ruf 1963 mit der Planung des Kanzlerbungalows als Wohn- Teilnehmer: mind. 10 / max. 25 und Empfangsgebäude für die Bundeskanzler der Bundesrepublik Deutschland. Treffpunkt: Ruf entwarf eine sachlich moderne, transparente Architektur und unterstrich damit die Funktion des Hauses 10.15 Uhr / 10.50 Uhr / 12.15 Uhr als Ort der Begegnung und des Gesprächs. Nach Erhard nutzten Kurt Georg Kiesinger, Willy Brandt, Helmut am Tagungscounter in der Lobby Schmidt, Helmut Kohl und kurze Zeit auch Gerhard Schröder den Bungalow. Bis auf Willy Brandt und Gerhard Achtung: Für die Führung müssen Schröder, denen das Gebäude nur für repräsentative Veranstaltungen und Gespräche diente, hatten alle Sie einen gültigen Personalausweis vorzeigen! 30 Kanzler hier ihren Bonner Wohnsitz. Das seit dem Regierungsumzug 1999 leerstehende Gebäude wurde 2001 unter Denkmalschutz gestellt. Die Wüstenrot Stiftung nahm 2006 den Kanzlerbungalow in ihr Denkmalprogramm für die Erhaltung und Revitalisie- rung besonderer Bauten der Moderne auf. 2007 begann auf Basis einer Machbarkeitsstudie der Stiftung Haus der Geschichte die bauliche Instandsetzung und Sanierung, die Arbeiten wurden Anfang 2009 abgeschlossen. Seit Mai 2009 steht der Kanzlerbungalow der Öffentlichkeit zur Verfügung. Eine kleine Ausstellung des Hauses der Geschichte mit ausgewählten Exponaten, Dokumenten und Fotos informiert Besuchergruppen über die Bundeskanzler und die Nutzung des Gebäudes. Zudem bietet das Haus regelmäßige Begleitungen durch das “Wohnzimmer der Macht” und ermöglicht Besucherinnen und Besuchern Einblicke in die repräsentativen und privaten Räume. Der Kanzlerbungalow ist nach wie vor ein „Highlight“ im Besuchsprogramm. Termine sind oft wochenlang im Voraus ausgebucht.

Führung Adenauer-Haus

Nachdem Konrad Adenauer am 19. April 1967 in seinem Wohnhaus verstorben und auf dem nahe gelegenen Preis: € 15,00 pro Person Waldfriedhof beigesetzt worden war, strömten zahlreiche Menschen nach Rhöndorf, um dem Altbundeskanz- Teilnehmer: mind. 10 ler die letzte Ehre zu erweisen. Tagungscounter in der Lobby Im Jahre 1970 konnten die ersten Besucher in kleinen Gruppen durch Adenauers Rosengarten in einige Räume des Hauses geführt werden. Bald danach kam ein Neubau hinzu, in dem 1975 die Ausstellung „Konrad Adenauer – Dokumente aus vier Epochen deutscher Geschichte“ eröffnet wurde. Das unterhalb des Wohnhauses gelegene Ausstellungsgebäude wurde im Hinblick auf den 50. Todestag Konrad Adenauers völlig neu gestaltet und am 19. April 2017 eröffnet. Die Dauerausstellung „Konrad Adenauer 1876-1967. Rheinländer, Deutscher, Europäer“ spannt den Bogen über fünf Epochen deutscher Geschichte vom Kaiserreich über die Weimarer Republik und den Nationalsozialismus bis hin in die Besatzungs- und Nachkriegszeit und die Ära der jungen Bundesrepublik Deutschland. Vom Ausstellungsgebäude aus geht die Führung durch den Garten hoch zum Wohnhaus.

Founded in 1889 by the Beethoven-Haus association, it combines the person of Ludwig van Beethoven with the cultivation of his music and research into the composer’s life and work.

The Chancellor’s Bungalow in Bonn is one of the outstanding buildings of German post-war modernism. Regular guided tours of the “living room of power” are offered by Haus der Geschichte, enabling visitors to gain an insight into the representative and private rooms of the Bungalow. Werkstattführung – Orgelbau Klais

1882 gründete Johannes Klais seine Werkstatt für Orgelbau. Sein Ziel war es, alle Arbeiten des Orgelbaus in Preis: € 25,00 pro Person der eigenen Werkstatt auszuführen. Er kaufte nur Rohstoffe – Holz in aufgeschnittenen Stämmen, sowie Zinn Teilnehmer: mind. 10 und Blei in Barren. Aus diesen wurden die Bleche für die Pfeifen selbst gegossen. Diese Vorgehensweise hat Treffpunkt: 13.00 Uhr am sich im Übrigen bis heute bei Orgelbau Klais nicht verändert. Johannes Klais beschäftigte aber nicht nur Orgel- Tagungscounter in der Lobby bauer. Auch Bildhauer und Holzschnitzer gehörten zu seiner Werkstatt. 1925 übernahm Hans Klais die Werkstatt. Viele Erfindungen im Orgelbau sind auf ihn zurückzuführen. Er pflegte enge Kontakte zu den Bauhausarchitekten und erfand die so genannten offenen Prospekte, bei denen die gesamte Struktur der Orgel von außen sichtbar ist. Zu den Instrumenten, die Hans Klais baute, gehören auch Orgeln in Belgien: unter anderem in den Kathedralen zu Gent und Brügge. Seine erste Orgel nach dem 2. Weltkrieg sollte zur 700-Jahrfeier des Kölner Domes erklingen: 1948 wurde sie vollendet und zwei Genera- tionen später im Jahre 2002 unter der Werkstattleitung des Enkels Philipp Klais reorganisiert. 1965 übernahm Hans-Gerd Klais die Werkstatt und kehrte zu den Konstruktionen seines Großvaters zurück. Er entwickelte eine weiterführende Synthese von polyphoner und symphonischer Orgel. Hans-Gerd Klais ver- band so ein durchsichtiges, eher barockes Klangideal mit dem breiten, orchestralem Klang der Spätromantik. Seit 1995 leitet Philipp C. A. Klais die Werkstatt. Vier Generationen lebten und leben bis heute unter dem Dach der Werkstatt mitten in Bonn. Neben dem Neubau und der Restaurierung von Kirchenorgeln konnte sich das Klais-Team in den letzten Jahren auch auf dem dritten Arbeitsfeld einen großen Erfahrungsschatz und ein 32 weltweites Renommee erarbeiten: dem Bau von Konzertsaalorgeln in Aufsehen erregenden Gebäuden. So erklingen neuere Klais-Orgeln in Konzerthallen weltweit.

Hans Klais maintained close contact with the Bauhaus architects and invented the so-called free pipe prospectus where the entire structure of the organ is visible. The instruments built by Hans Klais include organs in Belgium, also in the cathedrals of Ghent and Bruges. The first organ he built after World War II was intended to be played at the 700th anniversary of the Cathedral in Cologne: it was completed in 1948 and refurbished two generations later in 2002 under the leadership of grandson Philipp Klais. Hans-Gerd Klais took over the workshop in 1965 and returned to the constructions of his grandfather. He sought the synthesis of a polyphonic and a symphonic organ. Hans-Gerd Klais thus combined a transparent acoustic concept more typical of the Baroque with the broad orchestral sound of the late Romantic era. Philipp C.A. Klais has been in charge of the workshop since 1995. Until today, four generations have lived and do live above the workshop in the centre of Bonn. In addition to the construction of new organs and the restoration of church organs, in recent years the Klais team has gained significant experience and a global reputation in a third area: the construction of concert hall organs in architecturally outstanding buildings. 33 Hence, more recent Klais organs can be heard in concert halls worldwide.

Altes Rathaus Für das prachtvolle Haus im Stil des Rokoko, das in den Jahren 1737 und 1738 erbaut wurde, zeichnete Hofbaumeister Michel Leveilly verantwortlich. Am 12. Oktober 1794, vier Tage nach der Einnahme der Stadt durch französische Revolutionstruppen, wurde vor dem Rathaus ein „Freiheitsbaum“ errichtet – mit Jakobinermütze und Trikolore geschmückt. Und auch in Zusammenhang mit der März - revolution spielte das Alte Rathaus eine Rolle: Am 20. März 1848 endete ein Festumzug auf der Rathaustreppe. Gottfried Kinkel hielt eine begeisternde Rede mit einer schwarz-rot-goldenen Fahne in der Hand. Der französische Staatspräsident Charles de Gaulle, US-Präsident J.F. Kennedy und der sowjetische Staats- und Parteichef Michael Gorbatschow, um nur drei von vielen Persönlichkeiten aus aller Welt zu nennen, trugen sich während ihrer Staatsbesuche in Deutsch- land im Alten Rathaus in das Goldene Buch der Stadt ein.

Bonner Münster Das Münster verbindet romanische und gotische Stilelemente und stellt ein bedeutendes Denkmal rheinischer Kirchenbaukunst dar. Seit dem 13. Jahrhundert, als die Bonner die Münsterbasilika in ihr Stadtsiegel aufnahmen, ist sie das Wahrzeichen der Stadt Bonn. Der rund 900 Jahre alte Kreuzgang ist der am vollständigsten erhaltene romanische Kreuzgang nördlich der Alpen. Eine Besonderheit ist die Galerie im Obergeschoss des Südflügels. Eine solche so genannte Zwerchgalerie gab es nur in der romanischen Baukunst Deutschlands und Italiens. Im Ostflügel liegt neben dem Querhaus die Cyriakus-Kapelle. Seit 2002 liegen auf dem Martinsplatz am Bonner Münster die Skulpturen-Köpfe der Bonner Stadtpatrone Cassius und Florentius. Die Soldaten der Thebäischen Legion kamen im 3. Jahrhundert bei einer Christenverfolgung ums Leben. Das Kunstwerk soll an die Art des Martyriums erinnern, da die beiden Stadtheiligen enthauptet wurden. Ihre Reliquien ruhen nur wenige Meter entfernt in der 36 Krypta des Münsters.

Kurfürstliches Schloss / Hauptgebäude der Universität Bonn Der Wittelsbacher Ernst von Bayern ernannte Bonn 1597 offiziell zur Haupt- und Residenzstadt Kurkölns. Nachdem die Residenz fast ein Jahrhundert später bei der Belagerung von Bonn weitestgehend zerstört worden war, schuf Kurfürst Joseph Clemens von Bayern das Fundament für einen großen Neubau als Vierflügelanlage. 1777 wurde der Hauptteil des Gebäudes jedoch durch einen schweren Brand zerstört. Danach wurde lediglich der Hofgartenflügel mit den beiden Ecktürmen wiederaufgebaut. Nach dem Wiener Kongress 1815 wählte der preußische König Friedrich Wilhelm III. Bonn als Standort für eine neue Universität. Am 18. Oktober 1818 wurde die Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität gegründet – das ehemalige kurfürstliche Schloss sollte als ihr Hauptgebäude dienen. Durch die Universität gewann die Stadt Bonn stetig an Reichtum und Einfluss. Das historische Gebäude beherbergt heute viele Geisteswissenschaften und die theologischen Fakultäten der Universität Bonn.

Sterntor Das Sterntor am Rande des Bottlerplatzes erinnert an die mittelalterliche Bonner Stadtbefestigung. Es besteht aus Resten der alten Stadtmauer und lässt die Betrachterinnen und Betrachter ahnen, wie mächtig die Stadtbefestigung im Mittelalter gewesen sein muss. Das originale Sterntor aus dem 13. Jahrhundert stand einige Meter von seinem jetzigen Standort entfernt am Ende der Sternstraße. Heute ist das Sterntor beliebter Treffpunkt und Fotokulisse in der Bonner Innenstadt.

Godesburg Seit acht Jahrhunderten überragt die Godesburg, genauer ihr 39 Meter hoher Bergfried, das Rheintal. 1210 begann der Bau der Godesburg, der Kölner Erzbischof Dietrich I. von Hengebach legte den Grundstein. Die großzügige Festung war bald einer der bevor- zugten Sitze der Kölner Kurfürsten. Zerstört wurde die Godesburg 1583 im Truchsessischen Krieg. Erzbischof Gebhard Truchsess zu Waldenburg war zum protestantischen Glauben übergetreten und vom Papst abgesetzt worden. Der Nachfolger Ernst von Bayern ver- suchte sich mit Hilfe von Truppen Zutritt zu seinem neuen Territorium zu verschaffen. 1500 Pfund Pulver ließen von der Burganlage nur Reste und den Bergfried übrig. 1891 schenkte Kaiser Wilhelm II. die Ruine der Gemeinde Godesberg, die 1896 eine Gaststätte im historisierenden Stil einrichtete. 1960 entstand nach den Plänen von Gottfried Böhm ein Hotel und das heute noch bestehende Restaurant. 2006 sanierte die Stadt Bonn den Bergfried, eine kleine Dauerausstellung informiert über die Geschichte der Burg. Old Town Hall Court architect Michel Leveilly built the splendid old town hall in Rococo style between 1737 and 1738. On 12 October 1794, four days after the town was conquered by French revolutionary troops, a “freedom tree” was erected in front of the town hall – adorned with Jacobite bonnets and the tricolour. The Old Town Hall also played a role in connection with the March revolution: A demonstration march ended on the Town Hall steps on 20 March 1848. Bearing a black-red-gold flag, Gottfried Kinkel gave a rousing speech. The French President Charles de Gaulle, US President J.F. Kennedy and the Soviet Head of State Michael Gorbachev are just three persons in global history who signed the Golden Book in the Old Town Hall of Bonn during their state visits to Germany.

Bonn Minster The Minster in Bonn is a blend of Romanesque and Gothic elements, and amounts to a significant example of Rhenish church architecture. It has been an emblem of the city of Bonn since it was incorporated into the city’s coat of arms in the 13th century. The cloisters is approximately 900 years old and is the best preserved Romanesque cloisters north of the Alps. The gallery on the upper floor of the south wing is very special. A gallery of this kind can only be found in the Romanesque architecture of Germany and Italy. The Cyriakus chapel can be found next to the Querhaus in the east wing. Stone sculptures of the heads of Cassius and Florentius, the patron saints of Bonn, have lain on Martinsplatz near the Minster since 2002. The soldiers of the Theban Legion were killed during the persecution of Christians in the 3rd century. The work of art is a reminder of the nature of their martyrium since the two patron saints were beheaded. Their relics lie just a few metres away in the crypt of the Minster.

Prince Elector’s Palace / Main Building of University of Bonn 37 In 1597 the Wittelsbach Duke Ernest of Bavaria designated Bonn officially as the main and residential city of the electorate Cologne. After the residence was almost completely destroyed during the siege of Bonn almost a century later, Electorate Prince Clemens of Bavaria laid the foundations for a large new building with four wings. However, the main part of the building was destroyed by a severe fire in 1777. Subsequently only the wing adjacent to the Hofgarten park with the two corner towers was rebuilt. After the Vienna Congress in 1815 the Prussian King Friedrich Wilhelm III selected Bonn as the site of a new university. The Rhenish Friedrich-Wilhelm University was founded on 18 October 1818 – the former prince elector’s palace was to serve as its main building. The city of Bonn steadily gained in influence and wealth owing to the university. Nowadays the historical building is host to numerous human science departments as well as the theological faculty of the University of Bonn.

Sterntor Gate The Sterntor Gate on the northern edge of Bottlerplatz is testimony to the medieval fortifications of Bonn. It consists of remains of the original city walls and reminds visitors of the mighty fortifications of the city during medieval times. The original Sterntor dating from the 13th century was located several metres from the present site, at the end of Sternstraße. Nowadays the Sterntor Gate is a popular meeting point and photo motive in the centre of Bonn.

Godesburg Godesburg castle, and specifically its castle keep at 39 metres tall, has towered over the Rhine valley for 800 years. Construction of the fortification commenced in 1210 by Dietrich I of Hengebach, the Archbishop of Cologne. The generous fortification was soon a popular place to stay for the Cologne Elector Princes. Godesburg castle was destroyed in 1583 during the Truchsess War. Archbishop Gebhard Truchsess converted to the Reformed Church and was excommunicated by the Pope. His successor Ernest of Bavaria attempted to gain access to his new territory with the aid of troops. 1,500 pounds of powder meant that only the castle keep and little else remained of the fortifications. In 1891 Emperor Wilhelm II donated the ruins to the municipality of Godesberg, which set up a historically styled inn in 1896. In 1960 a hotel and the restaurant still in operation today were built according to plans drawn up by Gottfried Böhm. The castle keep was renovated in 2006 by the city of Bonn, a small permanent exhibition provides information about the history of the fortification. BONN – WEITERE EMPFEHLUNGEN

Poppelsdorfer Schloss / Poppelsdorfer Allee Das Poppelsdorfer Schloss, 1715 in Auftrag gegeben, wurde 1740 fertig gestellt und sollte als ländlicher Rückzugsort für Kurfürst Joseph Clemens dienen. Daher erhielt es den Beinamen „Clemensruhe“. Zwischen dem einstigen kurfürstlichen Apartment im kur- fürstlichen Schloss und dem Poppelsdorfer Schloss verläuft eine Sichtachse, verbunden sind die beiden Gebäude durch die Poppels- dorfer Allee. Sie diente im 18. Jahrhundert als Promenade für den Hof und die Bonner Bürger und war kein öffentlicher Verkehrsweg. Ab dem 19. Jahrhundert wurde sie mehr und mehr zur attraktiven Wohnadresse. Ursprünglich als Grünachse gedacht, die die freie Landschaft gliedert, ist sie heute Freiraum innerhalb urbaner Bebauung. Heute sind im Poppelsdorfer Schloss die mineralogische Sammlung der Universität Bonn sowie naturwissenschaftliche Einrichtungen wie Teile des Steinmann-Instituts für Geologie, Mineralogie und Paläontologie, das Institut für Zoologie und das Institut für Molekulare Physiologie und Entwicklungsbiologie ansässig.

Museumsmeile: Ein Kulturensemble der Extraklasse Allen voran ist die Bonner Museumsmeile Anziehungspunkt für Kunst- und Kulturinteressierte aus aller Welt. An der B 9, der Bonner Magistrale, finden sich das Zoologische Forschungsmuseum Alexander Koenig, das Haus der Geschichte, das Kunstmuseum Bonn, die Bundeskunsthalle und etwas weiter entfernt das Deutsche Museum Bonn. Sie bilden ein Kulturensemble besonderer Güte und verzeichnen jährlich rund zwei Millionen Besucherinnen und Besucher.

Kunst im öffentlichen Raum 1989 hat der Rat der Stadt Bonn ein Konzept über die künstlerische Ausgestaltung des öffentlichen Raumes beschlossen. Dabei wurden öffentliche Bereiche festgelegt, die langfristig in Frage kommen. Das Rheinufer vor dem ehemaligen Bundestag ziert beispiels- weise die Skulptur „L´Allumé“ von Mark di Suvero. Weg der Demokratie Der „Weg der Demokratie“ besteht aus beschilderten Stationen an zeithistorischen Orten im ehemaligen Regierungsviertel in Bonn. Der Rundgang beginnt am Haus der Geschichte der Bundesrepublik Deutschland und führt in knapp zwei Stunden an historisch be- deutsamen Stationen vorbei. www.wegderdemokratie.de

Historische Friedhöfe Der Alte Friedhof zählt zu den bedeutendsten Friedhöfen Deutschlands. Nicht nur die Grabstätten zeitgeschichtlich interessanter Persönlichkeiten faszinieren. Der drei Hektar große „Alte Friedhof“ ist eines der wichtigsten Kulturdenkmäler Bonns. Im Zentrum gelegen wirkt er, von einer Mauer umgeben, im Lärm der umgebenden Straßen wie eine „grüne Insel“. Als zweitgrößte Grünanlage der Bonner Innenstadt ist er auch für Pflanzen und Tiere ein Refugium. Besucherinnen und Besucher können sich auch von einer Smartphone-App über den Alten Friedhof führen lassen. Der Burgfriedhof in Bad Godesberg wurde um 1804 unterhalb der Michaelskapelle auf dem Burgberg angelegt, wo bereits seit dem frühen 18. Jahrhundert ein jüdischer Friedhof entstanden war. Der Friedhof wurde mehrmals terrassenförmig erweitert; heute steht der Burgfriedhof als Baudenkmal unter Denkmalschutz.

Poppelsdorf Palace / Poppelsdorf Allee Poppelsdorf Palace was commissioned in 1715 and completed in 1740; it was intended to be a country retreat for the Electorate Prince Joseph Clemens. It was therefore given the epithet “Clemensruhe”. The former Electorate Prince’s apartment in the Electorate Prince’s Palace and Poppelsdorf Palace are connected also visually by the Poppelsdorfer Allee. During the 18th century the Allee served as a promenade for the court and for the citizens of Bonn, it was not a public road. From the 19th century onwards it became an increasingly attractive residential area. Originally planned as a green axis dividing the unbuilt landscape, it is now a green space within an urban built-up area. Nowadays Poppelsdorfer Palace houses the mineralogical collection of the University of Bonn as well as scientific institutions such as parts of the Steinmann Institute for Geology, Mineralogy and Palaeontology, the Zoological Institute and the Institute for Molecular Physiology and Developmental Biology.

Museum Mile: an outstanding cultural ensemble The Museum Mile in Bonn is an outstanding attraction for all those throughout the world who are interested in the arts and culture. Path of German Democracy The “Path of German Democracy” consists of signposted points at sites of contemporary history within the former government seat of Bonn. The walk starts at the House of the History of the Federal Republic of Germany and leads past historically significant points of interest, taking about two hours to complete. www.wegderdemokratie.de

Historic cemeteries The Old Cemetery in Bonn is one of the most important cemeteries in Germany. Its fascination arises not only from the graves of interesting persons of contemporary history. The Old Cemetery is 3 acres in area and is one of the most important cultural monuments in Bonn. Located in the centre of the city and surrounded by a wall, it functions as a “green island” within the noise of the surrounding streets. It also provides refuge to plants and animals as the second largest green space in the centre of Bonn. Visitors can use a mobile phone app for guidance through the Old Cemetery. The Bad Godesberg castle cemetery was established in 1804 below the Michael chapel on the castle hill, where a Jewish cemetery had existed since the early 18th century. The cemetery was expanded several times in terraced form; the castle cemetery is now a protected monument.

Das Hauptprogramm der GRUR Jahrestagung, Teile des Rahmenprogramms, der Begrüßungsabend sowie die Mitgliederversammlung der GRUR (ordentliche Hauptversammlung) finden in diesem Jahr hybrid, d.h. sowohl im Präsenz-, als auch im Onlineformat statt. Die technische Plattform, mit der das Hauptprogramm, der Begrüßungsabend, das Rahmenprogramm (in Teilen) und die Hauptversammlung durchgeführt werden ist Zoom. Sie sollten sich dazu den Zoom Client installieren. Zoom hat sich zur Einhaltung der europäischen Datenschutzbestimmungen verpflichtet. Eine Teilnahme am Hauptprogramm (Fachprogramm), dem Begrüßungsabend, dem Rahmenprogramm und an der Hauptversammlung ist nur nach vorheriger Anmeldung bei www.grur2021.org möglich. Information regarding the online format of the main programme and the GRUR General Assembly

The main programme of the GRUR Annual Meeting, the welcome evening, the social programme (partially) and the GRUR General Assembly will take place in hybrid form this year, i.e. as an in-person event and in an online format.

Zoom will be the technical platform used to conduct the main progamme, the social programme (partially) and the General Assembly. Please install the Zoom Client in order to use the platform. Zoom has agreed to comply with European data protection regulations.

Participation in the main programme (working programme), the welcome evening, the social programme and the General Assembly is only possible after prior registration at www.grur2021.org.

After registration, you will receive your personal access data on 14 September 2021, for the relevant digital event room for which you have registered, sent to the email address you provide upon registration. Please note that access will not be available until shortly before the relevant event. Login data is especially important for the General Assembly so that we can verify that GRUR members alone participate in the General Assembly.

Should you wish to receive a certificate according to Sec. 15 FAO, it is important that you are present throughout the entire event of the main programme and respond to the control questions asked. This will be checked regularly by the DeutscheAnwaltAkademie.

You can pose questions, comment and post ideas at any time in the chat. The DeutscheAnwaltAkademie will collect chat posts addressed to the secretariat or to all participants, and will forward them to the moderators of the meeting. Since the General Assembly is in a hybrid format this year, and since we cannot pretict whether physical participation will be possible due to the pandemic situation, it will not be possible to delegate voting rights in accordance with Art. 20 of the GRUR statutes. Vor Beginn der Jahrestagung 2021 in Bonn findet

am Mittwoch, 15. September 2021, ab 9:00 Uhr,

im Golfclub Rhein-Sieg das 36. GRUR-Golfturnier statt. Die Teilnehmer der Jahrestagung und die sie begleitenden Gäste sind herzlich eingeladen.

Gespielt wird ein nicht handicaprelevantes Einzel-Zählspiel nach Stableford. Voraussetzung für die Teilnahme ist eine Vorgabe von mindestens -54. Bitte teilen Sie mit der Anmeldung Ihre Vorgabe mit.

Ausgesetzt sind ein Bruttopreis und – je nach Anzahl der Teilnehmer – ein oder mehrere Nettopreise ggf. in zwei Vorgabeklassen. Kein Teilnehmer kann mehr als einen Preis gewinnen.

Das Nenngeld beträgt € 40,00 pro Teilnehmer und ist mit der Anmeldung zu entrichten. Es verfällt bei Nichterscheinen.

Das Greenfee in Höhe von € 50,00 ist vor Beginn des Wettspiels im Clubsekretariat zu zahlen.

36th GRUR Golf Tournament 2021

Prior to the beginning of the Annual Meeting 2021 in Bonn the 36th GRUR Golf Tournament will be held at the course of the Golfclub Rhein-Sieg,

on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, starting at 9:00 am.

The participants of the Annual Meeting and accompanying guests are warmly welcome to attend.

The (non-handicap) tournament will be played according to the Stableford scoring system. Prerequisite for participation is a handicap of at least -54. Please state your handicap on registration.

There will be a prize for the best gross score and – depending on the number of participants – one or more prizes for the best net scores, p.r.n. in two handicap classes. No participant may win more than one prize.

The entry fee is € 40.00 per participant and is payable on registration. The fee is forfeited in the event of non-appearance.

The green fees of € 50.00 for tournament participants are payable to the club secretary prior to the beginning of the tournament.
