Peach to Launch Narita Services to Kushiro and Miyazaki Commencing 1 August! Kushiro is Narita Airport's First Link to Eastern Hokkaido
Peach(IATA code MM) will launch new services to Kushiro and Miyazaki commencing 1 August 2020. This will bring the airline‘s network from Narita Airport to two international destinations (Taiwan and Kaohsiung) and ten domestic (Sapporo, Kushiro, Osaka (Kansai International), Fukuoka, Nagasaki, Miyazaki, Kagoshima, Amami, Naha and Ishigaki). Kushiro is Narita Airport's first link to Eastern Hokkaido*. It boasts many of the unique assets of Hokkaido such as its natural grandeur typified by one of the largest wetlands in the country, Kushiro Shitsugen, and the freshest of seafood found only in port towns. Miyazaki has a warm climate much like a tropical resort and a local cuisine featuring the well-known Miyazaki chicken. It is home to many famous locations featured in myth and folklore such as Aoshima, a designated Natural Monument. With these two new network destinations, Narita Airport is the natural choice for your next flight. *Eastern Hokkaido refers to the area in the east of the island encompassing Shiretoko, Kushiro, Furano and Tokachigawa Onsen (Hot Springs).

Opening of Narita-Kushiro and Narita-Miyazaki routes from August 1st! ~ Peach further expands its domestic network this summer ~

Osaka, June 23, 2020 - Peach Aviation Limited (“Peach”; Representative Director and CEO: Takeaki Mori) announced the inauguration of two new routes between Tokyo (Narita) and Kushiro, and Tokyo (Narita) and Miyazaki, from Saturday, August 1 with return flights each day on both routes. One extra return trip will be added between Tokyo (Narita) and Amami each day for a total of two daily round trips from Friday, August 7 to Sunday,16. Ticket sales starts from 16:00 today.
The route between Tokyo (Narita) and Kushiro will be the first service to connect Narita Airport with eastern Hokkaido. Eastern Hokkaido is a popular tourist destination, boasting four national parks including Shiretoko, a World Natural Heritage site. Beautiful scenery, multiple activities, and gourmet cuisine can all be enjoyed in this magnificent natural environment.
The route between Tokyo (Narita) and Miyazaki marks Peach’s fifth route serving Kyushu to and from Narita Airport, along with Fukuoka, Amami, Nagasaki, and Kagoshima. Miyazaki prefecture has a wealth of both tangible and intangible cultural assets, including festivals and historical sites, offering many ways to enjoy a stay with superb views and epicurean delights.
Extra flights to be laid on between Tokyo (Narita) and Amami mainly to meet demand to return home from the Tokyo metropolis. Peach routes serving Narita Airport will be total 12, comprising ten domestic and two international routes*1 following the addition of the Kushiro and Miyazaki services. Peach will expand its domestic network and connect these regions under the theme “Bridging your Sky”.
Peach suspended service on some routes due to the spread of novel coronavirus, but restarted services on all domestic routes from Friday, June 19, and will have restarted all domestic flights from Wednesday, July 22.*2
