BYBOX MOVE TO NEW 100,000 SQ FT STATE OF THE ART FACILITY AS BUSINESS CONTINUES TO EXPAND Submitted by: Century PR Friday, 8 June 2007

In-night parts distribution company ByBox has opened a new state-of-the-art 100,000 sq ft hub in Coventry. The multi-million pound facility significantly increases the amount of warehousing space the firm commands, and demonstrates a new facet of its business. More than a 100 workers are employed at the site – an increase of 36% since the beginning of the year and the number is set to rise dramatically. The company’s core service offering is the development, delivery and support of an extensive range of distribution platforms for organisations operating large mobile field teams. Sir Nick Scheele, Chancellor of the University of Warwick and formerly Jaguar’s Chief Executive and President and Chief Operating Officer of Ford Motor Company, today had the honour of officially opening the site. Sir Nick said: “I am proud to be here today to open this tremendous new facility. “ByBox is an exciting and innovative firm that is at the cutting-edge of the parts distribution industry. “Its rapid expansion since being launched in 2000 clearly demonstrates its success, and the new hub that has been opened today will enable the business to reinforce its excellent market position.” The distribution company has enhanced its service offering to customers by increasing its warehouse space, a move which cements its position as the dominant force in the in-night parts distribution sector. Stuart Miller, ByBox’s Founder and Chief Executive, said: “This brand new hub facility will enable us to further expand our business and strengthen our position as market leaders. “With the increased warehouse capacity our new facility gives us, we are now able to offer an even better service to our customers because we can store their products on site, which strips out time and money from the supply chain process.” Mr Miller added: “It is an exciting time to be a part of ByBox because the firm is expanding rapidly. “This gives us a tremendous platform going forward.” ByBox operates the largest dedicated through-the-night distribution service in the UK, and makes more than 5 million deliveries a year into its unique national network of drop boxes at more than 750 locations.

Page 1 ByBox has secured almost 70 per cent of the specialist field service market in the UK, with more than 90 customers including: Coca Cola, , Unisys, KonicaMinolta, AstraZeneca, Computacenter, NRG Ricoh, BSkyB, GlaxoSmithkline, Siemens Energy, telent, Cable & Wireless, Norwich Union (RAC), Eli Lilly and Merck Sharpe Dohme. ByBox has also broken into the European market, after last year opening a French hub, strategically located near Orly airport, in order to offer a mirror image of the services provided in Britain. The French facility is a 27,000 sq ft complex and underlines the fact that ByBox is an international company which will be continually looking to expand its continental operations both in the business to business and consumer market. With a turnover of £119,000 in 2002, the company has gone from strength to strength and in 2006 smashed the £20 million mark. This year Mr Miller anticipates the firm will hit £28 million. He said: “We provide the best field service solutions to be found in the marketplace today, and we are backed by a team of innovative professionals whose expert knowledge, commitment and enthusiasm sets the company apart from our competitors.” The firm’s success rests on its innovative software - a proprietary field service system called Thinventory™ - and its approach to solving the distribution dilemma. ByBox offers a true end-to-end platform service. The objectives of Thinventory™ are simple: maximise stock visibility and minimise stock holding. It is a single system which provides a single view of the data, and manages every step of the process - from raising purchase orders, goods in, pick, despatch, return, repair and return to good stock - all with serial number visibility. ByBox has a 15-person software development team that continues to develop Thinventory™. Mr Miller said: “The ByBox proposition is simple – we work in tandem with our clients in order to understand their business. “The aim is to deliver solutions that maximise productivity and reduce unnecessary stock levels bringing measurable benefits to the bottom line.” And ByBox is able to guarantee it will deliver every consignment pre-8am into its national network of dropboxes. Mr Miller said: “The traditional approach to distribution is unable to meet the specific needs of the field service sector.

Page 2 “Of course, it is easy to throw money at the problem. Bigger warehouses. More delivery drivers. Duplicated stock in multiple locations. But that is lazy thinking and would serve only to increase both congestion and cost. “Put simply, that approach will never create a world-class supply chain. “We believe we have the solution.” The proof lies in the fact ByBox has been endorsed by clients such as Coca-Cola and Japanese electronics firm Fujitsu. Mr Miller said: “That we can attract clients of their calibre demonstrates the strength of our business.” Pictured left to right is Sir Nick Scheele with ByBox CEO Stuart Miller.
