The program works to solve Philadelphia’s most pressing social problems by building a pipeline of talent to the nonprofit sector. Fellows are placed in full-time positions in dynamic nonprofits for one year. They receive free shared housing with their peers, a living stipend, an education award, and other benefits in addition to undergoing leadership and professional-development training throughout their fellowships. The program offers an exciting transition from college to the community where fellows can gain knowledge, contribute talent, and develop leadership while experiencing the best of Philadelphia. College seniors with a passion for public service and an interest in exploring the nonprofit world are encouraged to apply. A complete list of benefits, project descriptions for the 2014-2015 host agencies, and our online application are available at our website, www.phillyfellows.org. 6)How to ask for a recommendation letter?
