• Turnpike Truck Parking Study – “Parking availability is a MAJOR problem for truckers, not just in Florida but EVERYWHERE. Parking in the area from Ft. Lauderdale to Miami is almost non-existent.”

• Miami-Dade MPO Commercial Parking Study: – County provides only 293 truck parking spaces – Demand for 12,000 spaces – Would require 1,177 acres of property

(1) The department may enter into contracts or licenses with any person for the sale of services or products or business opportunities on the turnpike system, or the turnpike enterprise may sell services, products, or business opportunities on the turnpike system, which benefit the traveling public or provide additional revenue to the turnpike system.
