Generally dusky-colored with faint amber or olive stripes down the sides. Can lighten when in feeding mode. Silvery; fins may have yellow cast. Oen have yellowish stripe along mid body. • Size: maximum 5½ feet Weight: 40-140 pounds • Habitat: open-water fish; rarely swim over reefs.
