World Day for Consecrated Life is celebrated this weekend. Please pray for all those who have made commitments in the consecrated life, and be sure to thank them on their special day. May they continue to be inspired by Jesus Christ and re- spond generously to God's gift of their vocation.

Please see these words from Pope Francis:

Dear Friends in Christ, Each of us can discover in Joseph the man who goes unnoticed, a daily, discreet and hidden presence an intercessor, a support and a guide in times of trouble. Pope Francis, Patris Corde With his announcement of a Year of St. Joseph, Pope Francis has invited us to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Blessed Pius IX's proclamation of St. Joseph as the Patron of the Catholic Church. He offers us this year, in our parishes, our of Paterson and the universal Church, to draw closer to the one who loved Jesus "with a father's heart."

This year, one way that we as a parish we will join in this celebration is to begin praying the Prayer to St. Joseph. You might have noticed we already began praying this prayer instead of the Prayer to St. Michael.

Blessed Joseph, husband of Mary, be with us this day. You protected and cherished the Virgin; loving the Child Jesus as your Son, you rescued Him from the danger of death. Defend the Church, the household of God, purchased by the Blood of Christ. Guardian of the Holy Family, be with us in our trials. May your prayers obtain for us the strength to flee from error and wrestle with the powers of corruption so that in life we may grow in holiness and in death rejoice in the crown of victory. Amen. There are copies of the Prayer to St. Joseph in a bas- ket near the Baptismal font for your personal use. Please take home a copy and return with you or use this page. I will Flocknote a copy, place on Facebook. and on the website for you. *************************************************************************************** In order to help us celebrate St. Valentine’s Day, please join us on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 7:00 PM as The Aubrey Anne Trio and The Louis Castano Trio livestream an evening of love songs.
