The World Food Programme, in order to create opportunities to help poor farmers worldwide,

Deeply disturbed by the fact that 18,000 children die because of each day,

Alarmed by the fact that 300 million children cannot get enough to eat,

1. Encourages countries to fund the Purchase for Progress (P4P) program;

2. Recommends countries hold classes for poor farmers to improve their techniques;

3. Further invites giving poor farmers micro-finance opportunities;

4. Further requests donor countries to fund poor countries to provide farmers with tools. Resolution WFP/1.2

Recognizing that the world has many poor farmers,

Observing that farmers are having difficulties with money,

Deeply concerned by the conditions in which farmers live,

Deeply disturbed by the lack of towards poor farmers,

Alarmed by the rate of and ,

1. Encourages the creation of pipes, canals and wells in rural areas;

2. Encourages use of composting;

3. Supports promoting organic farming;

4. Expresses its hope for free trade worldwide;

5. Accepts the practice of exchanging local, plentiful resources for the service of educating farmers about effective ecologically friendly farming methods;

6. Encourages member states to implement programs to supply farm equipment and management training that promotes organic farming;

7. Recommends that member states set forth a declaration to protect farmland from destruction;

8. Encourages the World Bank and other G12 countries to provide microloans. Resolution WFP/2.2

Recognizing Article I in the Declaration of Human Rights which states “ All humans are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood”,

Stressing the fact that some women do not have the right to education and basic human rights,

Alarmed that more than 50% of malnourished people are women,

Noting with regret that since the year 1996, the number of malnourished people has increased,

1. Recommends that women attend schools that teach them how to farm and take care of animals;

2. Encourages that factories create safe transportation for female workers to the factory;

3. Suggests that they are taught self defense;

4. Draws attention to the fact that health care is important;

5. Proposes that countries set forth a declaration to protect women’s rights;

6. Calls upon the education of women in the subject of politics;

7. Encourages the use of the UN resources to deliver basic needs such as water, food and shelter;

8. Recommends that all females have the right to a free accessible education;

9. Encourages countries to create establishments where women can easily have access to basic equipment donated by developed countries to assist with the creation of jobs and equal pay to women.
