Class Term TTP Academy offers a full-year program, from September through August. Recreational classes in 5 & 8 week units. New students are welcome at any time. To be eligible for the recital in May, students must be enrolled before the end of October. The year is broken into four 8-10-week-units; September-November, December-February, March-May, and June-August for students. Primary summer sessions are shorter 4-5 week sessions. Students enrolled in Academy technique classes take class September through May, and also take summer camps/classes.

Class Policies TTP will work with each community center to shorten or cancel any class, camp, or activity with less than 5 students Each Community center in which we teach has established their own policies for payment options. TTP Academy maintains a No Refund policy except for; relocation (30+ miles), extended illness, or other severe circumstances, on a case-by-case basis. When a class is canceled by TTP due to weather, etc. students are encouraged to make up the time in another class. There are dress codes and guidelines for every class. An online store offering Capezio and Curtain Call products is available on the TTP website. Students are asked to come to class prepared and ready to learn. As with any activity, commitment is an important part of a student’s success. Attendance is tracked and students are asked to miss no more than 1 classes per 10 week unit to maintain the current level and progress at an expected rate.

Performance Opportunities TTP’s main performance opportunity is the annual year-end recital at the Oconomowoc Arts Center. Performance is an exciting part of any performing arts program. Year end performances are optional, yet those students who have enrolled are encouraged to participate. Additional performance opportunities are available throughout the year for special productions and promotional events. Once preparations for the year-end performance begin, attendance is critical. All dancers are expected in every class. Costumes and tickets are necessary performance expenses. Fees will be collected in October for the year end recital. Optional performance related items, such as flowers, video, and pictures, will also be available for ordering & purchasing. TTP Academy also auditions for youth performance groups, including; TTP Dance Company.
