Translation *Sa-gig S1: 26 (U1: 27) (Rev. 1′–2′) … [“If a donkey kicks The divinatory significance of a (RA) him.”] kicking donkey is extended to include stormy weather, because (2′–3′) GÌR RA.RA [(means) to the storm-god’s name dUd-dè-anše kick.] involves the element ANŠE “donkey.” Also, raḫāṣu “to kick, devastate” (3′) [GÌR means foot.] very often describes the storm-god’s (3′) [RA means to strike.] floods.

(3′–4′) Secondly, dUd-dè-an-anše (or) [Ud-da refers to the storm-god Adad.]

Sa-gig S1: 30 (U1: 37a) (4′) [“If he sees a prowling god.”] The commentator explained this omen about a “prowling god,” so (4′–5′) … Lady of the gods or that it referred not only to some [Gazbaba]. invisible divine or demonic being, but also to star constellations or (5′) [Secondly], Unnānîššu. cultic persons such as the “shaman” and “(man-of)-the-knot of Narudu,” (5′–6′) (Thirdly), “lu₂an-na-ba-ti which are more readily observable. (or) [lú-giškéš-da : nin-nun-gal-e-ne], which means shaman or (man-of)-the-knot of Narudu respectively.”
