Voorwoord Het luchtvaartjaar 2010 stond in het teken van herlevend optimisme na de kre- dietcrisis die uitmondde in een wereldwijde economische malaise. Na het weg- zakken van passagiers, luchtvracht en het in elkaar storten van de verkoop van vliegtuigen gedurende 2009, leek het tij in de loop van 2010 te keren toen op allerlei fronten zaken aantrokken. Daarbij kreeg de Europese luchtvaart van 14 tot 20 april 2010 nog wel te maken met de dure gevolgen van de wolken met vulkaanas van de IJslandse vulkaan Eyjafjallajökull. Hierdoor konden op het dieptepunt slechts vijfduizend vluchten per dag boven het Europese lucht- ruim worden gemaakt, tegen 29.000 onder normale omstandigheden. De gevolgen ervan waren wereldwijd merkbaar doordat passagiers niet naar Europa konden vliegen, maar ook op het Europese continent strandden. Vol- gens de internationale luchtvaartorganisatie IATA leden maatschappijen hier- door een schadepost van 2,8 miljard dollar. Toch is ook de IATA positief gestemd: over heel 2010 werd een winst verwacht van 2,5 miljard dollar. Nederland ontving in april 2010 de eerste NH90 NFH (grote foto omslag). Drie jaar later dan gepland, maar dat mocht de pret niet drukken. Er zijn in totaal twintig exemplaren besteld: twaalf voor de marine en acht stuks die als trans- porthelikopter moeten functioneren. De NH90 gaat in ons land bij de marine de Westland Lynx (21 exemplaren) en de Agusta Bell 412 (drie stuks) aflos- sen. Op donderdag 15 juli 2010 arriveerde onder grote belangstelling voor het eerst een Airbus A380 op Nederlandse bodem (kleine foto rechtsboven). Het grootste verkeersvliegtuig ter wereld landde ʼs morgens rond tien uur op de Polderbaan van Schiphol. Daarna “meerde” het toestel af aan een gate, om afhandelaars een indruk te geven hoe ze het laden en lossen van de A380 het beste kunnen organiseren. Met de eerste vlucht van de Boeing 787 Dreamliner op 15 december 2009 werd een nieuw hoofdstuk aan de luchtvaartgeschiedenis toegevoegd. De afbeelding op de omslag (kleine foto linksboven) toont de eerste vlucht van het vijfde prototype, de ZA005, op 16 juni 2010. Dit is de eerste 787 die is uitge- rust met General Electric GEnx-motoren. De overige vier vliegende prototypes zijn uitgerust met Rolls-Royce Trent 1000-motoren. In maart 2010 waren alle luchtvaartogen op Nederland gericht toen bekend werd dat de Nederlandse minister Maria van der Hoeven van Economische Zaken aan NG Aircraft een krediet ter beschikking stelde voor het Fokker 100 Next Generation-project. De Fokker 100 NG (kleine foto midden) is gebaseerd op de bestaande Fokker 100, maar krijgt onder meer geavanceerde elektroni- ca, nieuwe zuinige motoren en winglets aan de vleugeluiteinden. Als het proto- type aanslaat in de markt, zou in 2015 de eerste in Nederland geassembleer- de Fokker 100 NG uit de hangar kunnen rollen. 4 Eerste vluchten september 2009 - augustus 20110 10 september 2009: Hawker Beechcraft Corporation AT-6 De nieuwe Hawker Beechcraft Corporation (HBC) AT-6 is ontworpen om zowel opleidingstaken, verkenningsvluchten als aanvalsmissies uit te voe- ren. De eenmotorige turboprop is afgeleid van het T-6A/B trainingsvlieg- tuig. De AT-6 krijgt met het oog op missietaken een versterkte cockpit, meerdere sensoren, datalinkmogelijkheden en verschillende ophangpun- ten voor externe lading. Het nieuwe toestel krijgt een missiebereik van meer dan 1.500 kilometer, waarbij het op geringe hoogte een kruissnelheid aan kan houden van ruim 500 km/u. HBC leverde inmiddels in totaal ruim vijfhonderd T-6A/B Texan II trainingsvliegtuigen af, bij onder meer de Ame- rikaanse luchtmacht en marine. Ook de luchtmachten van Griekenland en Israël gebruiken het toestel, terwijl de NAVO het toestel in Canada inzet voor opleidingsdoeleinden. Een nieuwe afnemer wordt de luchtmacht van Irak die recent met Amerikaanse steun acht Texan IIʼs bestelde. De eerste AT-6 vloog op 10 september 2009 voor het eerst. 20 september 2009: Lynx AH Mk.9 Bij de Britse vestiging van AgustaWestland werden op 20 september 2009 de eerste proefvluchten uitgevoerd met een Lynx AH Mk.9 die met nieuwe CTS800-4N motoren is uitgerust. De testvluchten maken deel uit van een moderniseringsprogramma, waarbij twaalf Britse Mk.9 helikopters onder meer worden uitgerust met nieuwe motoren. De fabrikant kondigde de komst van zowel de ATR 42-600 (46-50 passagiers) en de ATR 72-600 (70-74 passagiers) in het vroege najaar van 2007. Dat was tijdens een Amerikaanse tournee tegen de achtergrond van een marktpotentieel van 1.400 nieuwe turbo- props de komende twintig jaar. De nieuwe ATRʼs krijgen Pratt & Whitney Canada PW127M-turboprops die elk 2.455 pk leveren. Vergeleken met de bestaande varianten wordt tijdens de start 5 procent extra vermogen gele- verd. Bovendien kunnen de nieuwe motoren worden afgesteld voor betere prestaties tijdens starts van hoog gelegen, warme vliegvelden. Ook is bij beide 600-varianten een 500 kg hoger startgewicht en een groter vliegbe- reik mogelijk: 1.537 kilometer. Na dat wij de afgelopen jaren al heel veel aandacht hebben gevraagd voor onze situatie, hebben wij op 5 februari 2020 een handhavingsverzoek met een duidelijk signaal afgegeven en wij hebben tot nu toe niet 1 reactie ontvangen (muv enkele geautomatiseerde berichten). Het is hiermee voor ons overduidelijk hoe de spreekwoordelijke vork in de steel zit. De belangen voor de aandeelhouders en vliegveld Teuge wegen dus zwaarder dan die van de inwoners. Daarnaast heeft de gemeente Apeldoorn deze week een motie behandeld inzake de stuitingsbrief Lelystad. Ook deze behandeling in de Raad heeft ons meer dan verbaasd (of eigenlijk niet). Het verschuilen achter een politieke lobby, het niet 100% achter je inwoners staan, de respectloze onderlinge opmerkingen en de Stentor maar verzoeken de inwoners te informeren samen met een raadsfractie, verder komen sommigen niet….wat een vertoning….Kijk u vooral de raadsvergadering terug via het raadsinformatie systeem van de gemeente Apeldoorn en zet u daarbij de bril van een inwoner op, redenerende uit burgerlogica (schrikt u ook zo…). Wel groots aangeven hoe goed je in verbinding staat met de actiegroepen, terwijl wij nog nooit 1 brief hebben ontvangen en nog nooit een antwoord hebben gehad op al onze brieven.
