Dear Parents and/ or Guardians,

Your child is registered to or at Brighton Resort for five Wednesdays: February 4th, 11th, 18th, and March 4th & 11th. We are looking forward to another great season!

Laura Abbruzzesse, Joshi Haskell, and Annie Guerrero will be contact and point people while preparing to get on the busses and while up at Brighton Resort. We will be meeting with your students to discuss the following points: • Students are responsible for bringing proper clothing and for keeping track of their belongings and equipment. • Students must listen and follow directions- Respect, Grace, and Courtesy is EXPECTED. • Students must have good behavior on the bus and in their lessons. If a student is disrespectful, fails to listen, and/ or has trouble following directions, they will be asked to sit out and depending on the severity of the situation, they may be asked to miss the next lesson with no refunds offered. • Students must stay with their group. • Practice putting on clothes and gear.

Please review the above-mentioned points with your child and see the Equipment List and Daily Schedule on the back of this letter.

Your child will have a more pleasant experience if they have appropriate clothing and equipment to stay warm and dry. It is particularly important that your child has goggles or sunglasses, gloves (not knitted mittens), a neck gaiter, and good ski socks (not cotton). Label everything with your child’s name. The backpack or tote back should be an appropriate size for your child to be able to carry.

Remember we will NOT be providing snacks or drinks. Be sure to pack two NUT FREE snacks and drinks for riding the bus on the way to Brighton and on the way back to school.

Have your child wear their long underwear to school. Drop off your child’s gear, by classes, in the gym before school. They will change into their snow gear in the gym after lunch.

We will return to school around 4:40 pm. Plan to be to school at that time if your child is not enrolled in extended day.

Contact Ashlee Haslam in the office if you have any questions, (801) 355-1555.
