As we know, access to quality care for those living with CHD can be a challenge. Those with CHD need specialized care and testing that can be best provided by adult congenital heart disease (ACHD) specialists. In 2015, ACHA in conjunction with leading ACHD providers across the country, started to develop criteria to set those standards in CHD centers nationwide as part of our ACHA ACHD Accreditation Program. Through the tireless efforts of our Medical Advisory Board, led by Drs. Curt Daniels and Jamil Aboulhosn, we were able to set the groundwork by identifying five Pilot Sites across the country. This is truly an accomplishment we can all be proud of as we get ready to introduce the ACHA ACHD Accreditation John Fernie Glenn R. Tringali Program to centers nationwide in 2016. Board Chair National Executive Director
