Some people across various social channels were claiming that a Modern Warfare 3 Remastered, in a campaign form, was in development and planned for release similar to that of Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered. Now, Activision has denied the rumors in a statement sent to CharlieIntel. An Activision spokesperson says, “ A remaster of Modern Warfare 3, campaign or multiplayer, does not exist. Any reports otherwise are incorrect.” Activision has only remastered two Call of Duty games since the franchise started. The first was Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, which got remastered and bundled into Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare in 2016.
