Graduate Scholarships

Alumnae Continuing Education Scholarship The fund’s purpose is to provide scholarships for alumnae members who are in good standing, possess an undergraduate degree from a four-year institution, and have been accepted/enrolled in an advanced degree program with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00.

Alzheimer’s/Gerontology Scholarship The fund’s purpose is to provide scholarships for junior, senior or graduate Sigma Kappa members in good standing and majoring in Gerontology (the study of aging) or a related field with at least one year’s study remaining and a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00.

Elizabeth Hunt Curfman Scholarship The endowment’s purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated senior or graduate members of Sigma Kappa in good standing, have a minimum GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale, majoring in Education, who exhibit financial need and show evidence of exhibiting outstanding leadership and service provided to the chapter, Panhellenic and the University.

Elizabeth Landymore Smith Scholarship The endowment’s purpose is to provide biennial scholarships in perpetuity to Sigma Kappa alumnae members who are in good standing with a Sigma Kappa Alumnae Chapter, have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale, exemplify the high ideals and standards of Sigma Kappa Sorority, and are studying health sciences or any field of medicine.

European Alumnae Chapter Sisterhood without Borders Scholarship The endowment’s purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated undergraduate or graduate members of Sigma Kappa in good standing, have a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.00 scale, have actively served Sigma Kappa, her campus and/or community, and who are currently or have previously studied abroad, or whose studies have an international focus.

Jean B. Teare Volunteers' Scholarship (Convention years ONLY) The endowment's purpose is to provide scholarships for Sigma Kappa alumnae volunteers who are in good standing and have provided service to the Sorority, Foundation, or National Housing Corporation for at least four consecutive years (including the award year) as a Sorority national officer in either an elected or appointed office, a collegiate chapter advisor, Foundation trustee, Foundation committee member, National Housing Corporation officer, coordinator, corporation board or property committee member.

Kappa Zeta - Teresa Gray John Scholarship The endowment's purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated undergraduate or graduate members of the Kappa Zeta Chapter of Sigma Kappa who are in good standing, have a minimum GPA of 3.4 on a 4.00 scale and have demonstrated outstanding leadership and service to their chapter, Panhellenic and university.

Margaret J. Andrew Memorial Scholarship The endowment's purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated undergraduate junior, senior or graduate members of Sigma Kappa who are in good standing, have a minimum GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale and are majoring in food science, food technology or a related field (nutrition, dietetics, etc.).

Michigan-Denler Scholarship The endowment's purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated undergraduate or graduate members of Sigma Kappa who are in good standing, active member of a Michigan alumnae chapter, have a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.00 scale, attending a college or university in Michigan, with at least one year remaining for the completion of an undergraduate degree or current enrollment in a graduate level program, who have not previously been awarded the scholarship.

Theta Delta Memorial Scholarship The endowment’s purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated undergraduate and alumnae members of Sigma Kappa Sorority enrolled at the who are in good standing, have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale and have demonstrated financial need and involvement in Sigma Kappa, the campus, and the community.

Walta Wilkinson Carmichael Scholarship The endowment's purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated alumnae members of Sigma Kappa who are in good standing, have a minimum GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale, enrolled in a graduate program, who have demonstrated participation in collegiate chapter activities from their beginning year and continuing through the senior year of membership.

Undergraduate Scholarships

Alice Hersey Wick Scholarship The endowment's purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated undergraduate members of Sigma Kappa who are in good standing, have a minimum GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale and have demonstrated leadership and service to their chapter, campus and community.

Alpha Delta Chapter Scholarship The endowment’s purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated collegiate members of the Alpha Delta Chapter of Sigma Kappa who are in good standing, have a minimum GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale, and have demonstrated outstanding leadership and service to the chapter, Panhellenic and the University.

Alpha Gamma Chapter Scholarship The endowment’s purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated collegiate and alumnae members of the Alpha Gamma Chapter of Sigma Kappa who are in good standing, have a minimum GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale, and have demonstrated outstanding leadership and service to the chapter, Panhellenic, University or community. Funds must be used to further education at an accredited institution of higher education or for continuing education related to member’s career. Priority will be given to a member working toward the completion of her first bachelor’s degree.

Alpha Kappa Trust Scholarships (formerly Beta Omega Scholarship and Theta Tau Scholarship) The endowment’s purpose is to provide two scholarships. One scholarship is for initiated collegiate members of the Beta Omega Chapter of Sigma Kappa who are in good standing, have a minimum GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale, have demonstrated outstanding leadership and service to the chapter, Panhellenic and the University and have financial need. The second scholarship is for initiated collegiate members of the Theta Tau Chapter of Sigma Kappa who are in good standing, have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale, have demonstrated outstanding leadership and service to the chapter, Panhellenic and the University, and have financial need.

Alpha Mu Chapter Scholarship The endowment’s purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated collegiate members of Alpha Mu Chapter of Sigma Kappa who are in good standing, have a minimum GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale, have demonstrated outstanding involvement and commitment to the chapter and have financial need.

Alzheimer’s/Gerontology Scholarship The fund’s purpose is to provide scholarships to junior, senior or graduate Sigma Kappa members in good standing and majoring in Gerontology (the study of aging) or a related field with at least one year’s study remaining and a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00.

Andrea Will Memorial Scholarship The endowment's purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated undergraduate members of the Gamma Mu Chapter of Sigma Kappa, with preference given to new initiates, who are in good standing, have a minimum GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale and have demonstrated leadership qualities and involvement in extra-curricular activities.

Ashley Henderson Huff Memorial Scholarship for Courage and Patriotism The endowment’s purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated undergraduate members of Sigma Kappa who are in good standing, have a minimum grade point average of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale; have a connection to the military, including but not limited to Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and National Guard (connection may be in the form of direct service or service by a parent, spouse or sibling). OR have been directly affected by an international or foreign terrorist attack on our homeland (for example, victims of 9/11); and have demonstrated outstanding leadership and service to the chapter, Panhellenic and the university.

Barber-Owen-Thomas Scholarship The endowment's purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated undergraduate junior or senior members of the Beta Sigma Chapter of Sigma Kappa who are in good standing, have a minimum GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale, and are in need of financial assistance.

Beta Nu/Caryl Cordis D'hondt Scholarship The endowment's purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated undergraduate members of the Beta Nu Chapter of Sigma Kappa who are in good standing, involved in chapter and campus activities and are in need of financial assistance.

Beta Sigma Scholarship The endowment's purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated undergraduate sophomore, junior or senior members of the Beta Sigma Chapter of Sigma Kappa who are in good standing, have a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.00 scale, reside in the chapter house, have demonstrated leadership in their chapter and on campus and are in need of financial assistance.

Beta Zeta Scholarship The endowment’s purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated undergraduate members of the Beta Zeta Chapter of Sigma Kappa who are in good standing, have a minimum GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale, have demonstrated leadership and service to the chapter, Panhellenic and the University, have demonstrated personal growth and commitment to Sigma Kappa’s values through leadership, and are in need of financial assistance.

Chat Group Scholarship The endowment's purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated undergraduate members of Sigma Kappa who are in good standing and have a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.00 scale.

Christine Kerr Cawthorne Scholarship The endowment's purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated undergraduate junior members of the Alpha Chi Chapter of Sigma Kappa who are in good standing, have a minimum GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale and have demonstrated leadership and service to their chapter, and campus community.

Christy Burgess Bramblett Scholarship The endowment’s purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated undergraduate members of the Chapter of Sigma Kappa who are involved in campus activities and currently serve or have served as an elected officer in their chapter.

Delta Alpha Skolarship The endowment's purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated undergraduate members of the Delta Alpha Chapter of Sigma Kappa who are in good standing, have a minimum GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale, have demonstrated leadership and service to the chapter, Panhellenic and the University, and must be living or have lived in the chapter house for one year.

Delta Chapter Scholarship The endowment’s purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated undergraduate members of the Delta Chapter of Sigma Kappa who are in good standing, have a minimum GPA of 2.8 on a 4.00 scale, and have demonstrated outstanding leadership and service to the chapter, Panhellenic and the University.

Delta Chi Alumnae Memorial Scholarship The endowment's purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated undergraduate junior or senior members of the Chapter of Sigma Kappa who are in good standing, enrolled 12 hours or more, have a minimum GPA of 3.25 on a 4.00 scale and have demonstrated leadership and service to their chapter, and campus community.

Delta Theta Scholarship The endowment's purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated collegiate members of Delta Theta Chapter of Sigma Kappa who are in good standing, have a minimum GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale, have demonstrated outstanding leadership and service to the chapter, Panhellenic, and the University, works part-time or full-time, with special consideration for those in need of financial assistance.

Donna Crain King Panhellenic Scholarship The endowment’s purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated collegiate members of Sigma Kappa who are in good standing, have a minimum GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale, and have demonstrated outstanding leadership and service to the Panhellenic Council and University. Dr. Bobbye Debenport Gorenberg Scholarship The endowment’s purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated members of Kappa Eta Chapter of Sigma Kappa who are in good standing, have a minimum GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale, majoring in nursing, who have demonstrated Sigma Kappa’s values through involvement in the chapter and campus community, and are in need of financial assistance.

Stene/Xi Scholarship The endowment's purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated undergraduate junior or senior members of the Xi Chapter of Sigma Kappa who are in good standing, enrolled 12 hours or more, have a minimum GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale, demonstrated involvement in their chapter, and are in need of financial assistance.

Elise Reed Jenkins Memorial Scholarship The endowment's purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated undergraduate members of the Alpha Delta, Gamma Lambda and Gamma Psi Chapters of Sigma Kappa who are in good standing, have a minimum GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale and have been loyal members of Sigma Kappa for at least two years.

Elizabeth Hunt Curfman Scholarship The endowment’s purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated senior or graduate members of Sigma Kappa in good standing, have a minimum GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale, majoring in Education, who exhibit financial need and show evidence of exhibiting outstanding leadership and service provided to the chapter, Panhellenic and the University.

Epsilon Epsilon Scholarship The endowment’s purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated undergraduate junior or senior members of the Epsilon Epsilon Chapter of Sigma Kappa who have a minimum GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale, demonstrated leadership as a chapter officer, with special consideration for those in need of financial assistance.

Epsilon Mu Scholarship The endowment's purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated undergraduate junior or senior members of the Epsilon Mu Chapter who are in good standing, have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.80 on a 4.00 scale with special consideration for those who have demonstrated service to and leadership within the chapter.

Epsilon Tau Scholarships  Epsilon Tau Chapter Scholarship The endowment's purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated undergraduate members of the Epsilon Tau Chapter of Sigma Kappa who are in good standing, have demonstrated involvement in their chapter, campus and community, and are in need of financial assistance.

 Carolyn Marie Frate Scholarship The endowment’s purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated undergraduate members of the Epsilon Tau Chapter of Sigma Kappa who are in good standing, with preference given to a member who either currently lives in the house or has lived in the house in the past. The member should exemplify sisterhood.

European Alumnae Chapter Sisterhood without Borders Scholarship The endowment’s purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated undergraduate or graduate members of Sigma Kappa in good standing, have a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.00 scale, have actively served Sigma Kappa, her campus and/or community, and who are currently or have previously studied abroad, or whose studies have an international focus.

Evelyn S. Nish Scholarship* The endowment’s purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated undergraduate junior or senior members of Sigma Kappa in good standing, who have a minimum GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale.

Founders’ Scholarship The fund’s purpose is to provide scholarships for active, initiated, and continuing Sigma Kappa members in good standing, who have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale, and have demonstrated a leadership role on campus (chapter officer, student government, Panhellenic officer, etc.). Preference will be given to sophomores and juniors with at least one year’s study remaining.

Frances Warren Baker Memorial Scholarship The endowment's purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated undergraduate members of Sigma Kappa who are in good standing, have a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.00 scale, are majoring in journalism or communications (print media) and have demonstrated leadership within their chapter, campus and community.

Gamma Alpha Scholarship The endowment's purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated undergraduate sophomore, junior or senior members of the Gamma Alpha Chapter of Sigma Kappa who are in good standing, have a minimum GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale, have resided in the chapter house, are involved in campus activities and community service, and currently serve or have served as an elected officer in their chapter.

Gamma Iota Scholarship* The endowment’s purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated undergraduate members of a Sigma Kappa Chapter in the state of Texas who are in good standing, have a minimum GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale, are involved in campus and community activities, have demonstrated leadership as a chapter officer and are in need of financial assistance.

Gamma Lambda Academic and Leadership Scholarship The endowment's purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated undergraduate members of the Gamma Lambda Chapter of Sigma Kappa who are in good standing, who have a minimum GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale, have sustained or improved in the area of scholarship, and exhibited outstanding leadership and service to the chapter, Panhellenic and university. Preference will be given to rising seniors and then juniors who live in chapter housing.

Irma E. Voigt Memorial Scholarship The endowment's purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated undergraduate junior or senior members of the Beta Upsilon Chapter of Sigma Kappa who are in good standing, enrolled 12 hours or more, have a minimum GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale and have demonstrated involvement in their chapter, campus and community.

Jamie Sell Memorial Scholarship The endowment's purpose is to provide scholarships for collegiate members of the Zeta Phi chapter who are in good standing, have a GPA of 2.5 on a 4.00 scale, who exhibit outstanding leadership and service to the chapter and at least one other organization, with special consideration for those who are funding their own education or demonstrate financial need due to unforeseen circumstances.

Joan Reagin McNeill Scholarship The endowment's purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated undergraduate sophomore, junior or senior members of the Alpha Theta and Theta Phi Chapters of Sigma Kappa who are in good standing, have a minimum GPA of 3.25 on a 4.00 scale and have at least one year remaining for the completion of an undergraduate degree, with special consideration for those in need of financial assistance.

Kappa Eta Scholarship The endowment’s purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated undergraduate members of the Kappa Eta Chapter of Sigma Kappa who are in good standing and have been initiated for at least one year, have a minimum GPA of 3.25 on a 4.00 scale, have demonstrated outstanding leadership and service to the chapter, Panhellenic and the University, have evidence of dedication to Sigma Kappa’s values, and not a current recipient of a University financial aid package.

Kappa Gamma Scholarship The endowment's purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated undergraduate members of the Kappa Gamma Chapter of Sigma Kappa who are in good standing, are enrolled full-time, have a minimum GPA of 3.30 on a 4.00 scale, have demonstrated outstanding leadership and service to the chapter, Panhellenic and the University, and are in need of financial assistance. Kappa Iota Scholarship The endowment's purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated undergraduate members of the Kappa Iota Chapter of Sigma Kappa who are in good standing, have a minimum GPA of 3.4 on a 4.00 scale and have demonstrated outstanding involvement, leadership and service within their chapter and university.

Kappa Zeta Scholarships  Dr. Nancy Smith Midgette Scholarship The endowment's purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated undergraduate members of the Kappa Zeta Chapter of Sigma Kappa who are in good standing, have a minimum GPA of 3.4 on a 4.00 scale and have demonstrated outstanding leadership and service to their chapter, Panhellenic and university.

 Teresa Gray John Scholarship The endowment's purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated undergraduate or graduate members of the Kappa Zeta Chapter of Sigma Kappa who are in good standing, have a minimum GPA of 3.4 on a 4.00 scale and have demonstrated outstanding leadership and service to their chapter, Panhellenic and university.

Lambda Delta Scholarship The endowment's purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated collegiate members of Lambda Delta Chapter of Sigma Kappa who are in good standing, have a minimum GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale, have demonstrated outstanding leadership and service to the chapter, Panhellenic, and the University, and are in need of financial assistance.

Lambda Eta Scholarship The endowment’s purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated undergraduate members of the Lambda Eta Chapter of Sigma Kappa who are in good standing, have a minimum GPA of 2.80 on a 4.00 scale and have demonstrated outstanding leadership and service to the chapter, Panhellenic and University. A second scholarship is available that requires the same criteria as above, but the applicant must also show evidence of financial need.

Lorraine E. Swain Scholarship* The endowment's purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated undergraduate members of Sigma Kappa who are in good standing with a Sigma Kappa Chapter at a college or university in Colorado.

Lucile Cheever Graubart/Lambda Scholarship The endowment's purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated undergraduate members of the Lambda Chapter of Sigma Kappa who are in good standing and are in need of financial assistance.

Maggie Morris and Bette Wallace Scholarships for First Generation College Students The endowment’s purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated members of Sigma Kappa in good standing, who are first generation college students and are in need of financial assistance. There are two scholarships available and one shall be for a Woman of Color.

Margaret J. Andrew Memorial Scholarship The endowment's purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated undergraduate junior, senior or graduate members of Sigma Kappa who are in good standing, have a minimum GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale and are majoring in food science, food technology or a related field (nutrition, dietetics, etc.).

Marian Johnson Frutiger Sisterhood Scholarship The endowment's purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated undergraduate members of Sigma Kappa who are in good standing, have a minimum GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale, exemplify the ideals and standards of Sigma Kappa, exhibit outstanding sisterhood and have demonstrated leadership within the fraternal community. At least one scholarship award must be given to an initiated undergraduate member of a Sigma Kappa Chapter located in Texas.

Mary Turnbull Schacht Memorial Scholarship The endowment's purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated undergraduate members of the Lambda Chapter of Sigma Kappa who are in good standing, have a minimum GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale and have demonstrated outstanding leadership and service to their chapter, Panhellenic and university.

Michigan-Denler Scholarship The endowment's purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated undergraduate or graduate members of Sigma Kappa who are in good standing, have a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.00 scale, attending a college or university in Michigan, with at least one year remaining for the completion of an undergraduate degree or current enrollment in a graduate level program, who have not previously been awarded the scholarship.

Stradley Scholarship The endowment's purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated undergraduate members of Sigma Kappa who are in good standing, majoring in education and have demonstrated excellence in academics and character and a commitment to the field of education.

Tau Chapter Scholarship The endowment’s purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated undergraduate members of the Tau Chapter of Sigma Kappa who are in good standing, have a minimum GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale and have demonstrated outstanding leadership and service to the chapter, Panhellenic and University.

Theta/Caryl Cordis D'hondt Scholarship* The endowment's purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated undergraduate junior or senior members of Sigma Kappa who are in good standing, have a minimum GPA of 3.25 on a 4.00 scale, and have demonstrated involvement in their chapter.

Theta Chapter Educational Endowment* The endowment’s purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated members of Sigma Kappa in good standing, who have a minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.00 scale, have demonstrated financial need and outstanding leadership and service to their chapter, Panhellenic and university. First preference will be given to a Theta Chapter alumna, second preference to a Theta Chapter legacy, and third preference to any Sigma Kappa member attending a university in the state of Illinois.

Theta Chi House Corporation Scholarship The endowment's purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated undergraduate members of the Chapter of Sigma Kappa who are in good standing, have a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.00 scale, have demonstrated leadership and service to their chapter, with preference given to members who have signed an agreement to reside in the chapter house for the following academic year. Greater preference will be given to those members residing in the house for more than one year. A second scholarship is available that requires the same criteria as above, but the applicant must also show evidence of financial need.

Theta Delta Memorial Scholarship The endowment’s purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated undergraduate and alumnae members of Sigma Kappa Sorority enrolled at the University of Delaware who are in good standing, have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale and have demonstrated financial need and involvement in Sigma Kappa, the campus, and the community.

Theta Lambda Scholarships  Theta Lambda Chapter Scholarship The endowment's purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated undergraduate members of the Theta Lambda Chapter of Sigma Kappa who are in good standing, and have demonstrated leadership and service to their chapter, with special consideration for those who wish to reside in the chapter house.

 Kate Hunter Memorial Scholarship The endowment’s purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated undergraduate members of the Theta Lambda Chapter of Sigma Kappa who are in good standing, have demonstrated personal growth and leadership, and has had a positive impact on their community through service, with special consideration for students interested in computers science or health and wellness. Preferences will be given to members initiated within the last year, who will be classified as sophomores in the Fall and are interested in nature.

Theta Psi Chapter Scholarship The endowment’s purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated collegiate members of the Theta Psi Chapter of Sigma Kappa who are in good standing, have a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.00 scale, and have demonstrated the values of Sigma Kappa as exemplified in chapter or University leadership and involvement. Wilma Sackett Dressel Scholarship The endowment's purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated undergraduate members of the Alpha Tau Chapter of Sigma Kappa who are in good standing and in need of financial assistance.

Zeta Scholarship for Personal Growth The endowment’s purpose is to provide scholarships for initiated undergraduate members of the Zeta Chapter of Sigma Kappa who are in good standing, have a minimum GPA of a 3.00 on a 4.00 scale, have demonstrated outstanding, involvement, leadership and service in the chapter, and have financial need.
