UK AND IRELAND SCHOLARSHIP WEEK

Join us for these events to learn about UK study opportunities and talk with Purdue students who are current Scholars and Finalists. All sessions are located in BRNG 1284 and food will be provided. Which UK or Ireland Awards Fit My Goals? Each scholarship has a unique profile. This session gives an overview of the awards to help students assess which meet their individual goals. MARCH 1-3, 2016 Marshall Scholarship and Mitchell Scholarship Current Mitchell Scholar and Purdue alumnus Milad Alucozai will Skype in to talk about the experience of applying for competitive scholarships and now being in Ireland. The Mitchell Scholarship funds a one-year graduate degree in the Republic of Ireland. Future American leaders connect to Ireland on a Mitchell Scholarship while fostering intellectual achievement and a commitment to community and service.

Alucozai will also speak of his experience as a Marshall Scholarship Tuesday 3/1 Finalist. The Marshall funds graduate level study for future leaders who will further US-UK relations through study at any UK institution and into their future careers. 5:00pm Which UK or Ireland Awards Fit My Goals? 5:45pm Churchill Scholarship Info Session Churchill Scholarship Current Churchill Scholar and Purdue alumna Emily Erickson will Skype Guest: Emily Erickson, 2015-16 Churchill Scholar in to talk about her application experience and now being in graduate and Purdue Alumna school at Cambridge. This scholarship funds one-year graduate 7:00pm Gates Cambridge Scholarship Info Session programs in the sciences, engineering, and mathematics at Churchill College, University of Cambridge. Wednesday 3/2 Gates Cambridge Scholarship Outstanding intellectual ability, leadership, and a commitment to improving the lives of others are key qualities of a Gates Cambridge 5:45pm Rhodes Scholarship Info Session Scholar. This session will help you assess if you would be a good fit with Guest: Brenda Ramirez, Rhodes Scholarship this scholarship in any major at University of Cambridge. Open to all Finalist and Current Purdue Senior non-UK citizens.
