Filled with music, dance, food, and revelry, this cross-cultural festival re-creates the spring holiday with a rousing colonial-style celebration. Performers include the comedy, juggling, and acrobatic troupe Boston Circus Guild, the conservation group Two by Two Zoo and birds of prey demonstrations from Flight of the Raptor, plus tightrope walkers, mimes, and more! June 21-22 8:15pm + 10pm A Night on Fire at Philipsburg Manor Expanded by popular demand to four performances over two nights, A Night on Fire brings fire-juggling and comedy troupe extraordinare A Different Spin to Sleepy Hollow in a fully choreographed, live display of fire arts featuring four flame- wielding, fire-eating performers twisting and turning, juggling and dancing, spinning and sword fighting, and much more. The rousing, vaudeville-meets-funk sounds of Emperor Norton's Stationary Marching Band kicks off the evening and gets everybody dancing. August 31-September 2 10am to 5pm CORN ucopia Play · Make · Eat · Learn A Hudson Valley Festival at Philipsburg Manor Feast on a bounty of corn-centric delicacies, take part in a bevy of hands-on corn-related activities, and traverse a kid-sized mini maize maze! Bluegrass tunes, cool contests, crafty cookoffs, and art demonstrations using maize as the medium are just some of the corny activities on tap for the Hudson Valley's first ever corn festival. July 11, 18, 25 + August 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 From a Child’s Perspective Tours at 10:30am, 12pm, 1:30pm, 3pm · Washington Irving’s Sunnyside Parents and children are invited to travel back to the 19th century and explore the home of Washington Irving through a child’s eyes. Play games, hear stories, race through a scavenger hunt, and participate in hands-on activities. Explore Sunnyside as a family home, specially decorated with period toys and children’s clothing.
