A rappresentare l’evoluzione dell’arte e dell’architettura nel corso dei secoli, dall’Alto Medioevo al Settecento, esistono, sparse nei vari centri della regione, numerosissime testimonianze di elevato interesse storico-culturale. Partiamo come sempre da VITERBO e in modo particolare da BAGNAIA dove è possibile visitare la straordinaria VILLA LANTE; realizzata nel 1578 su disegni del Vignola, che inaugurò così il concetto di “giardini all’italiana”, rappresenta una delle ville rinascimentali più interessanti dell’Italia centrale. Il centro storico, racchiuso da un’imponente cerchia muraria, è invece ricco 8 di palazzi, fontane e monumenti che non fanno che confermare (Viterbo) Fontana di Piazza Fontana Grande le glorie passate dell’antica “Città dei Papi”. Sì perché proprio Fountain of Piazza Fontana Grande a Viterbo, dal 1268 al 1271 venne celebrato all’interno dello splendido PALAZZO DEI PAPI il primo conclave della storia. Particolarmente suggestiva l’odierna PIAZZA DEL PLEBISCITO la cui creazione risale alla seconda metà del Duecento. Sulla piazza si affacciano il PALAZZO DEI PRIORI (risalente al 1264, ampliato nel 1448), con l’elegante portico e giardino interno, il PALAZZO DEL GOVERNATORE, il PALAZZO DEL PODESTÀ (con la slanciata Torre dell’Orologio), l’antica CHIESA DI S. ANGELO (1145) e le vecchie CARCERI. D’abord, comment aborder le rapport que des individus et leurs collectivités entretiennent avec le monde et avec l’Autre selon leur propre système d’interprétations et d’explications de ces réalités? Ensuite, comment penser la diversité des collectivités humaines qui établissent de tels rapports? Finalement, comment aborder les dimensions collectives à travers les discours limités d’individus? Deux outils m’ont permis de prendre du recul face à ma subjectivité et d’accéder à un certain niveau de réalité et de validité quant aux faits rapportés et aux résultats atteints. Dans un premier temps, le réseau notionnel articulant les conceptions du monde (Ikenga- Metuh, 1987) comme phénomènes de civilisations (Mauss, 1929) accessibles par l’analyse des représentations sociales (Jodelet, 1997) permet de définir et d’étudier l’interface entre l’individuel et le collectif.
