n Nov. 30, 2019, the Canadian OArmed Forces sent a tri-base rugby team to the world renowned, New York 7’s 2019 Rugby tournament. The team was compised of members from the National Capitol Region and Canadian Forces Bases Trenton and Kingston – known as the Off- sides. The team of 12 players and one coaching assistant was comprised of all ranks and skill levels – four of whom had never played contact rugby before. New York 7’s is the longest running single-day Rugby 7’s tournament in the United States and draws partici- pants from around the world.
