On March 3, the Hercules was tasked to search for an ELT signal near Sudbury. The signal was tracked to an aircraft safely parked on the ground. On March 7, the Griffon was tasked to search for an ELT signal between Smiths Falls and Ottawa. The area was searched, but the crew was never able to hear an ELT signal and was subsequently released by JRCC.
