RIEDEL Completes Performance Series with Iconic Decanter Design Recommended for red , young white wines and

JANUARY 2019, Glassware innovator, Riedel, has unveilled the Performance Amadeo, an iconic decanter designed to complete the Austrian-based companies Performance Range, launched in 2017.

For years, Riedel has been reiterating the importance of decanting all wines, whether red, white, young or old, as well as champagne. Ever since it was introduced to the market in 2006, the Amadeo decanter has been one of the icons of Riedel’s decanter collections.

Like other icons, Amadeo has undergone several reinterpretations while always keeping its typical lyre-shaped design. These include the double magnum rainbow version for the Elton John AIDS Foundation (2017), both with and without colour, or as part of the Riedel Mini limited edition also launched this year.

In 2019, the award-winning Performance glass series will be complemented by an Amadeo decanter – optically manufactured, in a magnum version, and with a line in the signature green colour of the Performance series.

The decanter is an absolute must have for design and lovers. Not only does this piece have a unique look and feel, but it is also unique in its function. These mouth-blown, handmade decanters are produced at the Riedel factory in Kufstein.

The Performance Amadeo is available at www.riedel.com , RRP £495
