Presented by CIANA FAIR CATALOGUE WELCOME TO THE JANUARY 2008 REMAINDER & PROMOTIONAL BOOK FAIR Started in 1995, this well established Fair has moved to the City of London in the Barbican Exhibition Halls, the home of the London Book Fair before it moved to Olympia and Earl’s Court. The transfer to London (from Brighton) has brought a greater international flavour to this event, and it is now particularly well-positioned to fill the gap from the New Year until the spring book fairs in April and May. The move has persuaded more US wholesalers to exhibit, and more overseas buyers to attend, and the Fair is gowing in importance to match our September Fair, held at the Business Design Centre in Islington, North London. The January Fair gives UK buyers the opportunity to restock after the Christmas and New Year sales, overseas buyers to purchase for the extended period leading up to the Spring season, and everyone to take advantage of the enormous facilities and entertainment London has to offer.
