16 Service Members Receive Free Round-Trip Tickets for the Holidays

Einsiedlerhof, Germany (November 23, 2016) – USO Europe announced the winners of its annual “Home for the Holidays” today. The 16 single active duty service members rank E-4 and below will take home a cell phone, $250 spending cash, and a free round-trip airline ticket from Europe to the U.S. compliments of USO Europe and its sponsors: CWTSato Travel, TKS Telepost Kabel-Service, United Airlines, and USAA.

The winners were randomly selected by the sponsors at a drawing held at the AFN Europe studio in Sembach, Germany. Over 600 junior service members entered online (europe.uso.org) providing their contact information with an option to “Tell a Friend” for a chance to receive a double entry in the grand prize box. This is the ninth consecutive year USO Europe has hosted “Home for the Holidays” and is one of the programs that continuously connects our service members to family, home and country during the holiday season.
