Mobike founder, Hu, conceived the “smart dockless bikeshare” model - officially launching in April 2016.

Mobike’s purpose has always been to change how people move in cities. To combine today’s technology with the humble bicycle to create a new form of urban mobility. The effect: to give all people opportunities to explore their city; and to visit places and friends in healthy, affordable ways.

We support the green, the fresh, the bold. We love the world by living the life we need to in nearly 2020.

Smart Lock

All our bikes are connected to the Cloud, through a GPS enabled smart lock. The bike communicates to the cloud platform in real time, and is upgraded over time. We precisely locate all bikes, gather data from them, and send data to them.

Mobike’s first overseas launch was Singapore; followed by European launches in the UK and Italy.

All our int’l launches have been much supported by governments, and our events well-attended by Mayors, Local Councillors, and the general public alike.

Mobike has attracted high levels of stakeholder support in each and every new city.
