PETER J. TOMASI, STERLING GATES : Green Lantern Corps: Ring Quest before purchasing it in order to gage whether or not it would be worth my time, and all praised Green Lantern Corps: Ring Quest:

It was very refreshing given that this came up right after Corps War. It was funny as hell. The rest is very good too. The Guardians sent a few elite members of the Corps to seek the remaining yellow rings in the universe. Little they know Molgul was after that too.The most important part of the story comes up for the introduction of a new character that maybe will have big importance in the future.I was sad on the end though. I hate good characters when they go.Anyway, the price is good and the story is solid. It won't change your GL world but it'll be entertain.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. New to it all and loving it!By dirt55I'm new to both the GLC series as well as the Tomasi/Gleason combo and was definitely entertained. I have been folling the Corp since Volume 1 and this continues the great story of them collecting the Yellow rings post Sinestro Corp War. I personally have always found Mongol a little boring even in my old reading days, but they do attempt to give him more character in this collection. As opposed to other reviewers I actually really enjoyed the Mercy parts and found it a very entertaining read. I look forward to reading anything the comes from Tomasi in the future.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Do your duty, LanternsBy Daniel 12Althoug Sinestro Corps War is over, the members of the green lantern corps aren't resting or in a kind of vacation. They losted a lot of lanterns and some enemys are around turning hope into fear.In this book, did it again: an interesting plot and a wondrous story. If I had one concern in all this, it's the continued use of the mercy plant and , it's time to stop with this alien. The story could have been written without this creature of debstam IV, even if he has the ability to instill great fear...The art of Patrick Gleason is as brilliant as allways was and this paperbak edition is quite tidy indeed.

Mongul strikes in this powerful new volume collecting GREEN LANTERN CORPS #19-20 and #23-26! In the wake of The Sinestro Corps War, Mongul is amassing new power - and only The Green Lantern Corps can stand against him! DC Universe.
