1. Call to Order
a. This is a special public meeting called in accordance with Section 34 of the Municipal Act for the consideration of the closing and conveyance of municipal highways.
It is the intent of this meeting to provide an opportunity for persons to provide comments or concerns respecting these applications to Council for consideration in the decision making process.
The proposals will be considered in the order as listed on this agenda. Any person present who wishes to speak to any of the proposals are requested to make your intentions known to the Chair of the meeting, who will acknowledge your request, following which the person wishing to comment is requested to stand, state your name and your interests in the proposal.
If no-one wishes to speak to a proposal, or once all comments have been received respecting a proposal, Council will pass a motion to this effect and move on to the next item on the agenda.
No other business will be considered at this meeting.

Dear Roger,
I would like to apply to have a road allowance closed on two sides of my property. The current property that I am planning to build a home on is located at 19 Westplain rd. The road allowance that sits on the west side of my property up to the Croyden rd allowance which travels the north side of my property. The west side road allowance is part of Napanee township and I am in the process of working on the closure with them.
We are planning to build on the property near the west side and current setbacks could be a problem with our home plan. If we can close the road allowance it would give us room to move the house into a better position for the grade of the property. We would also like to know that the road allowance wouldn't be used in the future. The road allowance is currently unusable on the west side of the property. The north side is currently grown in and not navigable. We have had some issues with garbage being dumped at the north end of the property across from the Croyden rd. If this was closed we could control this better.

Resolution #204/18: Kaiser & Schenk That Council receive for information the Community & Corporate Services - Request for Closing and Conveying an Unopened Boundary Road Allowance report;
And further that Council authorize proceeding with the process of closing a portion of unopened boundary road allowance between the Town of Greater Napanee and the Township of Stone Mills, and conveying the lands, as requested by Mr. Brian Moelker, in accordance with the Town's Road Closing policy. CARRIED.

RE: Unopened Road Allowance Closure
Dear Mr. Hogan:
Further to our meeting on March 23rd , 2018, please accept this letter as a legal request to close the unopened road allowance along the West side of our property located on County Road 14 (Croydon Road). The legal description of the property is CON 7 N PT LOT 7.
The subject road allowance runs South off County Road 14 and extends approximately 1,000 metres to the Salmon River. This road allowance has never been used as a public road and we believe that the closing of this road allowance will not prohibit access to any other property. The subject road allowance is currently a treed fence line that runs through a densely forested area. Closing this road allowance will give us the peace of mind that it will not be opened in the future.
