Abstract: Humboldta bourdillonii is an Endangered tree legume; internodes (Krombein et al. 1999). Most of the species considered endemic to its type locality in the Periyar Tiger Reserve of Humboldta are under severe threat especially due to in Idukki District of Kerala State. A new populaton of this highly threatened endemic species is located in the Vagamon Hills of habitat loss and degradaton of forest by anthropogenic Kotayam District which is about 70km away from its original locality. actvites.
