Each July, hundreds of grade school and high school wrestlers flock to Head Coach Pat Pecora’s Pitt-Johnstown wrestling camp where athletes of all talent levels learn from former NCAA National Champions, NCAA All-Americans, as well as college and high school coaches. Pitt-Johnstown’s ELEMENTARY FIVE-DAY CAMP emphasizes individual attention with full-time staff members. Ability levels and age groups are taken into consideration at all workouts. The staff reviews the best holds used in wrestling and the new moves being performed by the top wrestlers in the nation. The SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL FIVE-DAY CAMP is designed to train the serious wrestler in all phases of the sport. In addition to technique, Coach Pecora and his staff teach conditioning, weight training, and wrestling in an actual training situation.
