Spots at first small, oval, brown, enlarging to about 15 × 15 mm and becoming pale buff with a broad dark brown margin. Edges of fronds may become necrotic. **Morphology** _Conidiophores_ arising singly or in small groups, pale brown to olivaceous-brown, up to 500 µm long, 7–12 µm thick, with one or more distinct conidial scars. _Conidia_ single, typically slightly curved, navicular or broadly fusiform, 100–150 µm long, 19–22 µm wide, pale straw coloured, smooth, 8–13 distoseptate. -

RESOLUCIÓN 2895 DE 2010 (septiembre 6) Diario Oficial No. 47.825 de 7 de septiembre de 2010 INSTITUTO COLOMBIANO AGROPECUARIO Por medio de la cual se establecen las plagas cuarentenarias sometidas a control oficial ausentes y presentes en el territorio nacional. El Gerente General del Instituto Colombiano Agropecuario, ICA, en ejercicio de sus atribuciones legales, especialmente de las previstas en el artículo 4° del Decreto 1840 de 1994 y el artículo 4° del Decreto 3761 de 2009, y CONSIDERANDO: De acuerdo con el Decreto 4765 de 2008 es función del Instituto Colombiano Agropecuario, ICA, planificar y ejecutar acciones para proteger la producción agropecuaria de plagas y enfermedades que afecten o puedan afectar las especies animales o vegetales del país o asociarse para los mismos fines. El ICA debe ejercer el control técnico sobre las importaciones de insumos destinados a la actividad agropecuaria, así como de animales, vegetales y productos de origen animal y vegetal, a fin de prevenir la introducción de enfermedades y plagas que puedan afectar la agricultura y la ganadería del país, y certificar la calidad sanitaria y fitosanitaria de las exportaciones, cuando así lo exija el país importador. El ICA establecerá, acorde con las normas internacionales adoptadas por Colombia, las plagas de importancia económica, social y cuarentenaria de control oficial y de obligatoria notificación y registro. Hodel University of California Cooperative Extension Alhambra, CA 91801, USA ABSTRACT Ornamental palms are important components of tropical, subtropical, and even warm temperate climate landscapes. In colder climates, they are important interiorscape plants and are often a focal point in malls, businesses, and other public areas. As arborescent monocots, palms have a unique morphology and this greatly influences their cultural requirements. Ornamental palms are over- whelmingly seed propagated, with seeds of most species germinating slowly and being intolerant of prolonged storage or cold temperatures. They generally do not have dormancy requirements, but do require high temperatures (30–35°C) for optimum germination. Palms are usually grown in containers prior to trans- planting into a field nursery or landscape. Because of their adventitious root system, large field-grown specimen palms can easily be transplanted. In the landscape, palm health and quality are greatly affected by nutritional deficien- cies, which can reduce their aesthetic value, growth rate, or even cause death. Palm life canCOPYRIGHTED also be shortened by a number of MATERIAL diseases or insect pests, some of which are lethal, have no controls, or have wide host ranges. Current Research in Environmental & Applied Mycology (Journal of Fungal Biology) 9(1), 122–163, Doi 10.5943/cream/9/1/13 Abstract Comprehensive up to date information of cercosporoid and ramularioid species of Iran is given with their hosts, geographical distribution and references. A total of 186 taxa belonging to 24 genara are listed. Among them, 134 taxa were belonged to 16 Cercospora and Cercospora-like genera viz. Cercospora (62 species), Cercosporidium (1 species), Clypeosphaerella (1 species), Fulvia (1 species), Graminopassalora (1 species), Neocercospora (1 species), Neocercosporidium (1 species), Nothopassalora (1 species), Paracercosporidium (1 species), Passalora (21 species), Pseudocercospora (36 species), Rosisphaerella (1 species), Scolecostigmina (2 species), Sirosporium (2 species), Sultanimyces (1 species) and Zasmidium (1 species); and 52 taxa were belonged to 8 Ramularia and Ramularia-like genera viz. Cercosporella (2 species), Microcyclosporella (1 species), Neoovularia (2 species), Neopseudocercosporella (1 species), Neoramularia (2 species), Ramularia (42 species), Ramulariopsis (1 species) and Ramulispora (1 species). Characterising plant pathogen communities and their environmental drivers at a national scale A thesis submitted in partial fulfilment of the requirements for the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy at Lincoln University by Andreas Makiola Lincoln University, New Zealand 2019 General abstract Plant pathogens play a critical role for global food security, conservation of natural ecosystems and future resilience and sustainability of ecosystem services in general. Thus, it is crucial to understand the large-scale processes that shape plant pathogen communities. The recent drop in DNA sequencing costs offers, for the first time, the opportunity to study multiple plant pathogens simultaneously in their naturally occurring environment effectively at large scale. In this thesis, my aims were (1) to employ next-generation sequencing (NGS) based metabarcoding for the detection and identification of plant pathogens at the ecosystem scale in New Zealand, (2) to characterise plant pathogen communities, and (3) to determine the environmental drivers of these communities. First, I investigated the suitability of NGS for the detection, identification and quantification of plant pathogens using rust fungi as a model system. -

En el se listan plagas de tipo ácaros, insectos, arvenses, nematodos, hongos, bacterias y virus, abarcando su taxonomía, sinonimia y cultivos que afecta. Para la realización de este listado se tomó en cuenta resultados de diagnósticos fitosanitarios, a través de las visitas a campo, muestreo, revisión de literatura y consultas en bases de datos. RESOLUCIÓN 3593 DE 2015 (octubre 9) Diario Oficial No. 49.680 de 29 de octubre de 2015 Instituto Colombiano Agropecuario Por medio de la cual se crea el mecanismo para establecer, mantener, actualizar y divulgar el listado de plagas reglamentadas de Colombia. El Gerente General del Instituto Colombiano Agropecuario (ICA), en ejercicio de sus atribuciones legales y en especial de las conferidas por el numeral 2 artículo 6° del Decreto número 4765 de 2008, artículo 4° del Decreto número 3761 de 2009, y CONSIDERANDO: Que corresponde al Instituto Colombiano Agropecuario (ICA) velar por la sanidad agropecuaria del país; para ello adoptará las acciones que sean necesarias para la prevención, el control y manejo de enfermedades, plagas, malezas o cualquier otro organismo dañino que afecten las plantas; Que el ICA ejerce control técnico sobre las importaciones y exportaciones agropecuarias, a fin de prevenir la introducción de plagas al país; Que es función del ICA establecer, en armonía con las normas de referencia internacional, las plagas de importancia económica, social y cuarentenaria para el país; Que de acuerdo al artículo 29 del Decreto número 4765 de 2008 a la Subgerencia de Protección Vegetal le corresponde establecer las plagas de importancia económica, social y cuarentenaria de control oficial y de obligatoria notificación y registro; Que según el artículo 33 del citado decreto, la Dirección Técnica de Epidemiología y Vigilancia Fitosanitaria tiene bajo su responsabilidad la certificación del estatus fitosanitario del país, con base -
