capable to store information, even during From the “bottom” of the memory thousands of years. I consider it useful to do (Not to be forgotten) my share to preserve the memory of those who are no longer with us. Whether we like it Memory is one of the most important or not but the deepest mark for each ofus qualities of each person. Unfortunately over have left childhood, adolescence and youth. time, this quality acquires the property of Adolescence is a period when the way of "sieve" through which manyinformation forthcoming life is being formed. 7 The absolute majority of them died in the Great Patriotic War, in its first month. Just very few of them have survived the war. To identify the victims is not possible due to lack of archival documents even about the payrolls not only of this classbut all subsequent classes as well. So have to "scrape" bottom of the remaining memory of those who is still alive and living. But it would be a sin not to recall at least those who have left the feasible and visible “imprints” in our lives. Some of the students of Odessa Naval special school have left a noticeable memory.Unfortunately, I have not enough personal photos. Here are the only ones I managed

Signs for photos: So they were in July 1941 to extract from the Internet. Number of retired to "another world" can not be accurately accounted, as it is not possible to get an accurate payroll number of special school students. Two-time evacuation and military mess with archival documents did not allow to meet our needs in this regard. Archival materials have not survived. Neither in Odessa nor in Tashkent (Uzbek SSR). The main source is the memory of those who are still alive. This list is by no means exhaustive. I offer my deepest apologies to the families and friends of those studentswhose names were not mentioned. My concern is the risk of inclusion in the list those former students who are still alive. List of those for whom it is known that they are not among the living: Abarbarchuk A.A., Artamonov Yu.V., Bersudskiy M.E., Bulavin G.I., Weinstein M.D., Voskoboinikov A.A., Garber L.S., Hansel P.I., Gordienko J.J., GuroE.Y., Gridin N.I., Ginet R.E., Gerinshteyn M.J., Gerbolinsky A.G., Dimitriou V.P., Dubov A.S., Eksarev A.D., ZhukovG.G., Zolotarev V.S., Zykin A., KatzA.I., Kochergin V.A., S.V. Currently, efforts are aimed at the construction of the monument to students of all three special schools. Among the students, particularly OVMSSH ¹ 6, there are many submariners. The absolute majority of its pupils gave the best years of their lifes serving in the ranks of the Navy and on merchant fleet. Number ofstudents passed the initial training in the special school was about 800. Among them are two of the Hero of the , 9 admirals, a Lenin Prize winner, two academicians, many with scientific degrees and titles, more than 80-90% are officers of the Navy. Practically all of its graduates are, at a minimum, participants in the war, and at least half of them were involved in the fighting in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. Naval special schools were established Resolution of the Council of National Commissioners on July 22 1940. in seven cities: Moscow, Leningrad, Kiev, Baku, Gorky, Vladivostok and Odessa. Organizationally, they were part of the People's Commissariat of Enlightenment (hence the witty "Sailors of EnlightenmentCommissariat"). Difficulties in maintaining of special schools, especially in time of war have led to the fact that in 1944 they were disbanded and the studentsmoved to the newly created Naval Preparatory Schools. Training programs almost were not changed but obedience of schools to naval fleet decided issues of material - technical support of the educational process, accommodation, food and uniforms of cadets of preparatory schools. The years of existence of the Odessa Naval special school were aptly narrated in the poem "Father's House" written by Oscar Stavitskiy to "large gathering" of former students of OVMSSH ¹ 6 in July 1972.
