175W Solar Panel STEP 1: BATTERIES & BUS BARS

The first step in putting together a camper van electrical system is to connect the batteries together, if you have multiple batteries. In the following diagram, three 12v deep cycle batteries are connected in parallel. After, connect the batteries to a master On/O switch, a fuse, and a battery monitor. Lastly, connect everything to power distribution blocks (“bus bars”), which will become the central connection points for all downstream electrical devices.
