Linna avalike suhete teenistus 3 In 2016 the statistical yearbook Tallinn in Figures is published for the 24th time. Breakdown of topics is the same as in previous years. In order to follow the principle of time and space, as well as vertical and horizontal analysis the presentation of data by topics is similar to that of the yearbooks 2007–2015: indicators of Tallinn for the last years, relevant indicators of Estonia, also, because of urban sprawl, comparative data of Harju County on certain topics have been presented. Selection of topics and tables of the yearbook is based on the following principles and needs: • drafting and monitoring of Tallinn, city district, sectorial development plans and strategies; • drafting yearbooks and reports of Tallinn, as well as different analytical overviews; • introducing Tallinn as the capital of Estonia; • participation of Tallinn in various international conferences and competitions, drafting of relevant presentations; • possibility to respond immediately to over 50 enquiries about different socio-economic issues made annually. The data sources are: Estonian Ministry of Education and Research, Ministry of Justice of Estonia, Estonian Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications, Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Estonia, Estonian Ministry of the Interior, Ministry of Social Affairs of Estonia, Bank of Estonia, Estonian Tax and Customs Board, Estonian Rescue Service, Statistics Estonia, Population and Housing Census 2011, Estonian Competition Authority, Estonian Land Board, Estonian Road Administration, Estonian Police and Border Guard Board, Estonian National Social Insurance Board, Health Board, Labour Inspectorate, Estonian Health Insurance Fund, Estonian Unemployment Insurance Fund, North Police Prefecture, National Electoral Committee, Population Register, Estonian Education Information System, Estonian Causes of death Registry, Estonian Cancer Registry, Abortion Registry, State Construction Works Register, Tallinn Land Tax Register, Commercial Register, Drug trestment Database, National Institute for Health Development, Estonian Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology, Folk Culture Centre, Eesti Energia AS, Tallinna Küte AS, Tallinn Airport Ltd, Port of Tallinn, Port Vene-Balti, Port of Miiduranna, Tallinn Bekker Port Ltd, Pirita Harbour, Tallinn Water, Tallinn Landfi ll Ltd, Tallinn Botany Garden, Tallinn Philharmonic Society, Tallinn City Museum, Tallinn City Theatre, Tallinn Zoological Gardens, Estonian Neighbourhood Watch NGO. (Vello Salo) Foto: Jaan Tootsen Maarja Vaino on eesti kirjandusteadlane, raamatute koosaja ja kaitses Tallinna Ülikoolis doktorikraadi teemal Irratsionaalsuse poeetika A. H. Tammsaare loomingus. Ta on Tallinna äärelinnas Kadriorus historistlikus suvila tüüpi majas oleva Eesti kirjandusklassiku A. H. Tammsaare (1878–1940) korter-muuseumi juhataja. Tammsaare kolis lõplikult Tallinnasse elama 1919. aastal. Ilukirjandus arendab inimese võimet asju ette kujutada ja seostada. Need omadused on ühenduses ühiskondliku võimekuse, elus hakkama saamisega. Teoseid välisriikide kogudes: Moodsa Kunsti Muuseum (USA, New York); New Yorgi Avalik Raamatukogu; Tretjakovi Galerii (Moskva, Venemaa), Museum Ludwig (Köln, Saksamaa). Arrakuni jõudmiseks tuleb tõusta 110 trepiastet üles – kunstniku ateljee paikneb juba üle kolmekümne aasta Tallinna südalinna ühe viiekorruselise maja katusekambris ehk kuuendal korrusel. Ma tulen siia ateljeesse kell kümme hommikul
