We meet our Tour manager in Fiumicino airport, then transfer to our hotel. The rest of the day is free to rest or explore on our own. We will be free to enjoy the culinary delights of Rome tonight as dinner is on our own. Overnight at our hotel. Wednesday, January 31 - Day 10 - ROME/VATICAN - After an early breakfast, we make our way to St. Peter's for an audience with Pope Francis if he is in residence. This afternoon, we visit the Holy Stairs, then proceed to the Basilica of St. John Lateran, the Cathedral of Rome.
