This is a great Bible for children and is an excellent translation ... reading with my daughter at times ... it even makes more sense than my NIV. It is at third-grade reading level and my daughter (2nd grade - Year 3 (UK)) reads it well and even my son (1st grade - Year 2 (UK)) can read most of it.
