0x0a I Don’t Know Gregor Weichbrodt FROHMANN I Don’t Know Gregor Weichbrodt 0x0a Contents I Don’t Know .................................................................4 About This Book .......................................................353 Imprint ........................................................................354 I Don’t Know I’m not well-versed in Literature. Sensibility – what is that? What in God’s name is An Afterword? I haven’t the faintest idea. And concerning Book design, I am fully ignorant. What is ‘A Slipcase’ supposed to mean again, and what the heck is Boriswood? The Canons of page construction – I don’t know what that is. I haven’t got a clue. How am I supposed to make sense of Traditional Chinese bookbinding, and what the hell is an Initial? Containers are a mystery to me. And what about A Post box, and what on earth is The Hollow Nickel Case? An Ammunition box – dunno. Couldn’t tell you. I’m not well-versed in Postal systems. And I don’t know what Bulk mail is or what is supposed to be special about A Catcher pouch. I don’t know what people mean by ‘Bags’. What’s the deal with The Arhuaca mochila, and what is the mystery about A Bin bag? Am I supposed to be familiar with A Carpet bag? How should I know? Cradleboard? Come again? Never heard of it. I have no idea. A Changing bag – never heard of it. I’ve never heard of Carriages. A Dogcart – what does that mean? A Ralli car? Doesn’t ring a bell. I have absolutely no idea. And what the hell is Tandem, and what is the deal with the Mail coach? 4 I don’t know the first thing about Postal system of the United Kingdom.

  • “The Triumph Shield”
www.tswfl.org Triumphs Live On 1 “The Triumph Shield” Newsletter of Triumphs of Southwest Florida March 2018 Inside This Issue: President’s Corner: TSWFL Event Page 2 In October 2017 I took my 81 TR7 to the Tampa Bay Austin Healey Calendar, club’s Safety Harbor all British Car Show, which is about two hours Club Officers, north of us. It was entered into the TR7 & TR8 class. I had participated Treasure’s Report in this show in the past, but never with the TR7, just with the TR4A. This show has Preservation Judging for any car in all classes that are in Club Info Page 3 the show. The requirements for this judging are original paint, interior Member Bits Pages 4- 8 and engine, but the engine can have been rebuilt. Since that is what I have, I checked the box for the judging. Current Month’s Pages 9- Activity 21 Parts for sale & Pages 22- Classifieds – Cars 28 Vendor Services, Pages 29 - Suppliers and TSWFL 34 Supporters The yellow TR7 and the Black Spider on either side of me had also selected the preservation box. The judges disqualified both of their About TSWF Membership cars, because they had been repainted. Of all the classes in the show, my TR7 took the only Trophy for Preservation Judging in the show. Membership in the Triumphs of Southwest Florida is open to anyone who owns a Triumph car(s) or other British car with a Triumph engine/drive train or just has an interest in Triumph sports cars. Most of our members reside in Southwest Florida , either seasonally or permanently.

  • Special May 2020 Photo Issue Compressed.Pub
SPECIAL COVID-19 COMMEMORATIVE EDITION MAY 21, 2020 Roundabout – Special Edition Branch members, readers and friends, welcome to this special edition of the Roundabout. This is an attempt to fill the social void created by the required social distancing. Please enjoy the photos, some with a car, some without, some older photos where our friends appear younger, and some photos that are very recent and show the results of staying away from the bar- ber shop and hair stylist! I know this cannot make up for our calendars that are empty of motor- ing runs, car shows and social gatherings but hopefully this Roundabout will brighten your day and allow us to look forward to days of more ac- tivity and socialising in the not-too-distant future. Many thanks to Walter Reynolds and Steve Hutchens for making this happen. Regards, Alan Inglis, VCB Chair From Steve Hutchens, Editor — Dateline May 21, 2020 During the “lockdown” period of COVID-19 virtually all of our Vancouver Coast Branch activities have been cancelled. Bummer! Then Walter Reynolds suggested a special edition of the Roundabout with pictures of our members and their cars as a way to have a bit of contact. The response has exceed expectations! Some members got their cars out of storage for special photos. Others have sent cool photos from a few years ago. All are great and it is been fun to see these pictures! Because I received such varied contributions the layout is a bit haphazard but I hope everyone enjoys this Special Covid-19 Commemorative Edition as much as I enjoyed assembling it.
