Patrick Reports An Historic Campaign War Chest, Nearly $13.5 Million More Than Any Lt. Governor

HOUSTON TX – Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick will report raising nearly $5.5 million in 2019. The January 15, 2020 Texas Ethics Commission report shows over $2 million raised since July 1. This brings his campaign war chest total to nearly $13.5 million — more than any Lt. Governor in Texas history.

“I am so grateful for this incredible support. As we enter this monumental election year, Texas voters know that when they vote Republican, they are voting for life, liberty and Texas values, low taxes, reasonable regulation and a climate where businesses can thrive,” Patrick said. “These principled conservative policies have given Texas the strongest economy in the nation and made our state an economic force in the world. Texas voters reject the socialist, job-killing, energy-hating, tax increasing, pro-, anti-gun platform that every Democrat candidate is pushing. I remain grateful for the opportunity to serve as Lt. Governor and I look forward to continuing the work we are doing to make the greatest state in the nation even greater.”

“The latest campaign finance report is another powerful demonstration of Dan Patrick’s political strength. He is a clarion voice for the conservative agenda in Texas. He remains a leading political force in our state,” said Patrick Chief Campaign Strategist, Allen Blakemore.
