Head Coach Raoul Voss On the matchup with his former team “Obviously it’s nice to see old colleagues and old friends but, other than that it’s just like any other USL game and we are committed and focused to play our game.”
On the quick turnaround between games “We knew that the schedule wouldn’t be easy this year, it’s just something we have to put up with. It’s not an excuse for anything, it’s not an excuse for losing games we have a deep roster. We trust in everybody here. That’s why there’s not really an excuse for anything.”
On how to build the offense “We always want to win games and to win games you have to score goals, we have the quality here but’ there’s certain things we haven't done as well as we could have or should have done in the past, part of that was too many turnovers in order to really create dominance and pressure for a long span of time. I believe we are on the right track.”
Forward Tommy Heinemann On coming back home “It’s always good to play at home, we’re excited to get back on the field. We don’t feel like last match was a very good representation of who we are as a team.”

On how the offense can improve “I think it takes time, we’re getting back to who we are as a team. For me...it’s about the collective, t’s about the unit, and about what the 11 guys on the field do...I think we will continue to grow and we need to...especially when it comes to putting the ball in the back of the net.
On the quick turnaround between games: “There’s no hiding from the fact that we have a lot of games, this past week in a short span and this next week we are going to have a lot of games in a tighter span. It’s very difficult individually but, that why we have a committed group all the guys on this team are ready to step up, give minutes and play their role in getting points for this team.”
“We have a good Tampa Bay team coming in and we need to be at our best, and we are prepared to do that.”
Defender Ken Tribbett On what he’s looking forward to in the match against Tampa “We are looking forward to a good game against a good opponent, back in front of our home fans. It should be a lot of fun, we’ve been working on tactics and a lot of thing to some balls in the back of the net and get the shutout.”
On how the offense can improve
“We’ve been working on stuff in training, I wouldn't worry about scoring goals. We have plenty of talent up top, and in the midfield with set pieces. We have a bunch of big guys who can attack the ball and score goals”

We have a lot of guys with a lot of quality on this squad. You’ve seen it before against Nashville we turned around and started 8 different guys the next day. It’s a true test of our depth and so far we’ve done very well.”
