Luxembourg Final Report
JESSICA JOINT EUROPEAN SUPPORT FOR SUSTAINABLE INVESTMENT IN CITY AREAS Evaluation Study for Luxembourg Final Report April 2010 This document has been produced with the financial assistance of the European Union. The views expressed herein can in no way be taken to reflect the official opinion of the European Union. Foreword This report has been prepared on behalf of the European Investment Bank (EIB) as an evaluation study for the application of a JESSICA funding structure in Luxembourg. The report covers the five principal and two supplementary objectives outlined within the Terms of Reference. In particular, this report is intended to evaluate Nordstad as a pilot, and to consider whether it is suitable for structural funds support which could be financed through JESSICA. Areas of our study have been limited by the information available and all financial estimates are therefore based on high level assumptions. During the course of this study, a number of issues have arisen that have led to the consultancy team to consider areas outside of the original Terms of Reference. Particularly, in relation to our proposals for a new National Development Framework and the establishment of a wider Development Fund in Luxembourg. The purpose of this report is to act as a useful starting point to promote further discussion over the potential implementation of the JESSICA mechanism in Luxembourg. SUMMARY OF FINDINGS The principle conclusions from this study are as follows:- 1. There is a clear role for JESSICA in Luxembourg to form part of a Luxembourg-wide Development Fund. The JESSICA funding element would stimulate public private investment in regeneration and development schemes across the country. -

Présentation Du Circuit De Howald Hesperange-Nord
Vorstellung des Lehrpfades von Howald Hesperingen-Nord Présentation du circuit de Howald Hesperange-Nord Vorwort Léif Lieserin, Léiwe Lieser, Et ass mir eng besonnesch Freed fir Iech de leschte Léierpad deen duerch eis Gemeng féiert, däerfen z’annoncéieren. Nodeems datt d’Léierpied Hesper Süd mat den Uertschaften Alzeng, Fenteng an och deelweis Hesper an de Léierpad zu Izeg scho virun enger Rei vu Joren fäerdeggestallt gi sinn, ass et elo um leschte Circuit deen eis d’Geschicht vun Hesper an awer och vum Houwald verzielen deet. D’Geschicht vun eiser Gemeng ass erzielenswäert, et ginn esouvill Facetten an Anekdoten iwwert déi ze berichten ass. D’Landschaftsbild huet sech enorm geännert an awer och op Säite vum Urbanismus ass an de leschte Jorzéngten esouvill geschitt. Hesper ass eng Gemeng déi lieft a sech deemno och ännert. Mat dem Buch vun de Geschichtsfrënn vun der Gemeng Hesper „Hesper eng Gemeng am Wandel“ gouf virun 3 Joer schonn e beandrockend Sammelwierk un Informatiounen iwwert eis Gemeng zesummege- droen. Mat dësem Léierpad ginn d’Leit um Terrain iwwert dat Geschicht- lecht op der Plaz selwer informéiert. Et mécht eis Gemeng doduerch vill méi lieweg a soll eis Matbierger an eventuell och Touristen an de Bann vun dem Erlieften an der Geschicht vun eisen Uertschaften zéien. D’Geschicht gëtt all Dag nei geschriwwen, dat Erliefte soll a muss dokumentéiert ginn an der aktueller an der kommender Generatioun zougänglech gemaach ginn, nëmmen esou verstinn a gesi mir wéi sech eis Gemeinschaft entwéckelt huet. E ganz grousse MERCI wéilt ech den Initiateure vun dëser Aarbecht zoukomme loossen. -

List of Supervised Entities
List of supervised entities Cut-off date for significance decisions: 1 April 2017# Number of significant supervised entities: 124 This list displays the significant (part A) and less significant credit institutions (part B) which are supervised entities. The list is compiled on the basis of significance decisions adopted and notified by the ECB up to the cut-off date. If the authorisation of a credit institution is withdrawn by the ECB after the cut-off date it will be marked by (#) in this list. While it is regularly reviewed whether an authorisation of a listed bank is withdrawn, it should be noted that there might be a time gap between the withdrawal of the authorisation and the time when the institution is marked with (#). Furthermore, it should be noted that other reasons for the ending of the authorisation as credit institution than the withdrawal of the authorisation will only be reflected in the list after the next cut-off date A.
