Tuxedo & Suit Rentals - Procedures & Policies

1. In order to receive your preferred tuxedo or suit we recommend you order as far in advance as possible. Two to three months is ideal, however we are able to fulfill orders in as little as one week. All rentals are subject to availability. 2. Please visit Boulder Menswear so we can measure you properly. 3. If you are arranging tuxedos for yourself or others who are out of town, we are happy to accept measurements taken by another rental professional. Please see our website www.bouldermenswear.com for a downloadable order form which must be filled in completely. 4. Before we place your order with Derks we require; Complete set of measurements (per person renting), including Shoe Size Tuxedo or Suit Style number Vest or Cummerbund, Tie/Bow Tie and Pocket Square selections Shirt Style selection Shoe Style selection A 50% non-refundable deposit, per tuxedo, at time of booking. Balance of payment is due upon pick up 5. Cancellations received less than 7 days prior to event date will be charged the full rental rate. 6. We require your credit card, with expiry date, on file. 7. Tuxedo(s) and Suit(s) are delivered to our store approximately four days before your event date. Please make arrangements to visit the store to ensure all items fit. 8. Boulder Menswear is not responsible for poor fitting garments where incorrect or incomplete sizing is given. Replacement garments will be subject to a charge. 9. In the unlikely event that an item needs to be exchanged, it must be done by 11:00 a.m. two business days prior to your event day. No additional charge for replacement garments when measurements were taken by Boulder Menswear staff, unless there has been a significant change in overall measurements since they were taken (ie. weight loss/gain). 10. Tuxedos are due back to us by 11:00 a.m. the day after your event. 11. Your rental includes the cost of cleaning and minor wear and tear. Major rips, burns, stains, etc. or failure to return rentals by the return date will result in additional charges to your credit card. 12. All Prices are subject to 5% GST (Canadian Goods & Services Tax).
Boulder Menswear is proud to be the Exclusive Agent in the Bow Valley for Derks Formals. Derks is located in Edmonton, Alberta, approximately 5 hours from Canmore. As a rental agent we do not have a supply of tuxedos ‘in the back room’. All tuxedo and suit rentals are sent to us by overnight courier. Regrettably, there are no same day deliveries, nor deliveries on weekends or holidays.
