I have also used red heart yarn which actually allows the hat to be a bit more sturdy but is definitely not as soft on baby. Buttons: 2 large for front of diaper cover. 4 smaller buttons for inside diaper cover so that suspenders can be attached. Size of buttons is related to your stitching and what will best fit and hold the flaps and suspenders in place. I try to get the largest button that will fit through stitching for front, 1 inch. There are no specific button holes so test your buttons. I force my buttons through so I know they will not slip out when on baby. Tapestry needle. Difficulty: Intermediate. CLOTHING GUIDELINES: MEMBERS AND ADULTS (Reviewed annually during Grand Officer Leadership; changes made as needed) Changes made by Jr. Grand Executive Committee (November 2016) “A dress code is a presentation of who we are.” 1997-98 Grand Officers One of the benefits of Rainbow is helping our members mature into beautiful, responsible young women - prepared to meet challenges with dignity, grace and poise. The following guidelines are intended to help our members make appropriate clothing choices, based on the activities they will participate in as Rainbow girls. The Clothing Guidelines will be reviewed annually by the Jr. Members of the Grand Executive Committee. Recommendations for revisions should be forwarded to the Supreme Officer prior to July 15th of each year. REGULAR MEETINGS Appropriate: Short dress, including tea-length and high-low length, or skirt and blouse or sweater or Nevada Rainbow polo shirt (tucked in) with khaki skirt or denim skirt. Vests are acceptable. Skirt length: Ideally, HEMS should not be more than three inches above the knee. Skirts, like pencil skirts that hug the body and require “adjustment” after bowing or sitting, are unacceptable. How to tell if a skirt has a Rainbow appropriate length? Try the “Length Test”, which includes: When bowing from the waist, are your undergarments visible, or do you need to hold your skirt - or shirt - down in the back? If so, it's too short for a Rainbow meeting. Ask your mother or father to stand behind you and in front of you while you bow from the waist. If she/he gasps, the outfit is not appropriate for a Rainbow meeting.

What words, logos and symbols are allowed on the uniform? All uniform rules are housed in Rule 1. Applicable rules (with unrelated language removed) are included below: 1-21.a Protective Equipment - All players shall wear protective gloves, shoes and jerseys. All players except the designated goalkeeper shall wear shoulder pads and arm pads. The designated goalkeeper shall wear protective goalkeeper equipment (see Rule 1-23.c). The altering of equipment is prohibited. All players on a team must wear gloves of the same dominant official team color unless safety reasons require a different color glove to be worn. Specialized goalkeeper gloves may be of any color. The throat protector and chest protector are required pieces of equipment for the goalkeeper, but the goalkeeper is not required to wear shoulder pads or arm pads. Beginning January 2021, goalkeepers must use chest protectors designed for lacrosse certified to the NOCSAE commotio cordis protective device standard at the time of manufacture, or they must wear an alternative protective device certified to the NOCSAE commotio cordis protective device standard at the time of manufacture. The school and gym uniform must be purchased by the school-approved vendor: Collegiate House. Gym uniforms are required for all grades on gym days and field trips. Permission must be given by the school office before sending your child to school if there is an extraordinary circumstance where the student must wear clothing other than our regulation uniform. Otherwise a parent/guardian or emergency contact person must bring the appropriate uniform for their child to the school. Gym Uniform: All Grades: Saint Catherine tee-shirt and/or sweatshirt. The tee-shirt must be worn under the sweatshirt. Navy blue sweatpants or long navy blue shorts for hot days. COMPILED BY : - GAUTAM SINGH STUDY MATERIAL – SPORTS 0 7830294949 American Football American Football popularly known as the Rugby Football or Gridiron originated in United States resembling a union of Rugby and soccer; played in between two teams with each team of eleven players. American football gained fame as the people wanted to detach themselves from the English influence. The father of this sport Walter Camp altered the shape and size of the ball to an oval-shaped ball called ovoid ball and drawn up some unique set of rules. Objective American Football is played on a four sided ground with goalposts at each end. The two opposing teams are named as the Offense and the Defense, The offensive team with control of the ovoid ball, tries to go ahead down the field by running and passing the ball, while the defensive team without control of the ball, targets to stop the offensive team’s advance and tries to take control of the ball for themselves. The main objective of the sport is scoring maximum number of goals by moving forward with the ball into the opposite team's end line for a touchdown or kicking the ball through the challenger's goalposts which is counted as a goal and the team gets points for the goal. The team with the most points at the end of a game wins.
