Cleanability Light soiling: A solution of 10% household liquid dishsoap in warm water applied with a damp soft cloth. Rinse with clean water and pat dry. Heavy soiling: Use a straight application of concentrated Formula 409® or Fantastik® spray cleaner. Rub gently. Rinse with water dampened cloth. Pat dry. Difficult stains: Dampen a soft white cltoh with a 1:1 mix of ammonia and water, or 1:4 mix of bleach and water. Rub gently. Rinse with a water dampened cltoh to remove bleach concentration. Pat dry. Persistent stains: Dampen a soft white cloth with a 1:1 mix of isopropyl alcohol and water. Rub the stain in circles 10 times. Pat dry with another soft cotton cloth and check the results. If stain persists, use straight alcohol. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and pat dry. Some upholsteries may experience dye transfer (clothing dyes transfer to the seating fabric). This does not mean that the fabric of application is deficient, but rather it is an inherent characteristic of that fabric or application and is considered normal behavior. Once the dye transfer occurs, it is irreversible.
