Book of Proceedings INTERNATIONAL ICLLD CONFERENCE ON LINGUISTICS, LITERATURE 2018 AND DIDACTICS 08 September, 2018 @ Kolegji AAB Pristina - Republic of Kosovo BOOK OF PROCEEDINGS AAB College 3rd INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON LINGUISTICS, LITERATURE AND DIDACTICS BOOK OF PROCEEDINGS Organized by: In partnership with: 8th September, 2018 @AAB College Pristina, Republic of Kosovo ICLLD 2018 Linguistics, Literature and Didactics have a long tradition in being key fields of scholars around the world. These areas have a long tradition in being analyzed and reviewed in many researches and conferences realized by scholars and faculties. In an academic setting, these areas are completely in line with each other. As such, in this conference we would like to promote the study of English language covering acquisition in a non-native context, the relationship of languages, specifically that of Albanian and English with other educational and pragmatic processes. Furthermore, teaching and learning English language, literature and culture covers the area of didactics in providing practical guidance to theoretical concepts when taking into account the important bond between the education and scientific perfection gained in universities and the implementation of that knowledge in schools. Background of the paper is to analyse potential time saving in translating documents with repetitions; ease in finding reference words and expressions; maintaining consistency throughout the text, experience of translators using the CATs compared to previous traditional methods. Objective of the analysis is to show benefits of using CATs in written translation, benefits and drawbacks of using CATs, and ultimately is it worth it. Paper analyses the effect of CATs in the quality and consistency of translations and the effect of CATs in the duration of translation process, and ultimately the worth over money and effort. Keywords: Translation, Computer Assisted Translation software, terminology management, translation memory, machine translation. Introduction Computer-assisted Translation, also known as CAT, is a form of language translation in which a human translator uses computer software to support, facilitate and streamline the translation process. Its unique operation principles help translators, among others, recycle previously translated segments, memorize expressions/terms specialized for different fields, provide a report of expected load and effort to be put in by the translator, which helps anticipating the time required to complete the translation. There is a number of CATs available in the market on commercial basis. Kosovo has had a translation market since decades, which intensified after 1999 when an additional languages ha been introduced in the 7 Book of Proceedings translation market – English. Due to the wide range of assistance and aids provided to Kosovo and the need for translation and interpreting in various fields, translators/interpreters have to develop a terminology database for each field of expertise. Also if one wants to organize more translators and finish the tasks on time and with high quality, one must rely on computer technology to manage the translation process. Larger organizations increasingly require their translators to master some translation software, such as TRADOS. Aims and objectives Given that CAT tools have only relatively recently become available, it is not surprising that little or no research has been conducted to date into their use by translators in Kosovo. The underlying purpose of the present study is to fill this gap by conducting a study of shortcomings in terms of maintaining consistency in large or across documents and overcoming such issues through the use of CAT tool. The overall aims of this research are to explore and analyse inconsistency of using terms in large documents, overcoming such issues through use of CAT tool by translators. In pursuit of these aims, the following research objectives have been identified: - To examine whether the use of Computer Assisted Translation Software helps in maintaining consistency throughout the text; - To examine whether Computer Assisted Translation Software affects the quality of translation; Literature review This section provides a brief description of the activities a translator typically undertakes, tools used and how CAT tools are involved in these activities.

E-ISSN 2281-4612 Academic Journal of Interdisciplinary Studies Vol 5 No 2 ISSN 2281-3993 MCSER Publishing, Rome-Italy July 2016 Institutional Political Developments from the Assembly of Durres to the Congress of Lushnja Eldi Sherifi PhD candidate, Faculty of Law, University of Tirana Doi:10.5901/ajis.2016.v5n2p187 Abstract There are several historical studies on the Congress of Durrës and Congress of Lushnja, but in my opinion further studies should be conducted on the history of political institutions and their political organizing operators as well as their inhibitors. On July 29, 1913 the Great powers declared Albania a Hereditary and Sovereign Autonomous Principality. At the Peace Conference in 1919, Clemenceau and Lloyd defended the thesis of "inability of Albanians to Self Government" and offered the solution of sharing the governance responsibility between Yugoslavia and Italy to implement the Secret Treaty of London on 26 April 1915. The Congress of Durres was held after the conclusion of the First World War. It was led by Mehmet Konica and Myfit Libohova. Delegates elected the interim government and the delegation for representing Albania at the Peace Conference in Paris. The Congress of Lushnja came as an illuminating meteor in the dark and hopeless institutional environment. Its development destroyed the anti-Albanian political intrigues. After they toppled the government of Durres by voting against it, the congress delegates established all the powers of the state, according to the principles of Montesquieu. Through several transparent procedures they established "National Council", "Supreme Council" and the Cabinet. The evidence and acts sources of law served as the legal basis.

Raja Mohan 21M.775 Prof. DeFrantz From Bronx’s Hip-Hop to Bristol’s Trip-Hop As Tricia Rose describes, the birth of hip-hop occurred in Bronx, a marginalized city, characterized by poverty and congestion, serving as a backdrop for an art form that flourished into an international phenomenon. The city inhabited a black culture suffering from post-war economic effects and was cordoned off from other regions of New York City due to modifications in the highway system, making the people victims of “urban renewal.” (30) Given the opportunity to form new identities in the realm of hip-hop and share their personal accounts and ideologies, similar to traditions in African oral history, these people conceived a movement whose worldwide appeal impacted major events such as the Million Man March. Hip-hop’s enormous influence on the world is undeniable. In the isolated city of Bristol located in England arose a style of music dubbed trip-hop. The origins of trip-hop clearly trace to hip-hop, probably explaining why artists categorized in this genre vehemently oppose to calling their music trip-hop. They argue their music is hip-hop, or perhaps a fresh and original offshoot of hip-hop. Mushroom, a member of the trip-hop band Massive Attack, said, "We called it lover's hip hop. Forget all that trip hop bullshit. There's no difference between what Puffy or Mary J Blige or Common Sense is doing now and what we were doing…” (Bristol Underground Website) Trip-hop can abstractly be defined as music employing hip-hop, soul, dub grooves, jazz samples, and break beat rhythms.

European Journal of Research in Social Sciences Vol. 4 No. 5, 2016 ISSN 2056-5429 ISSUES ON RELIGIOUS COEXISTENCE TOLERANCE IN ALBANIA (1912-1945): BASED ON THE PRACTICE AND CLERGY SERMONS Ahmed KALAJA Ph.D. candidate Europian University of Tirana Department of Sociology TIRANA ABSTRACT The religious tolerance is one of the rarest values of the tradition of the Albanian people. It is widely accepted that Albanian people are well known about these values, about an excellent coexistence among the believers of different religious communities that are in Albania, mainly Muslims and Christians. In this study we bring the essentials of this phenomenon, promotional roots of these values, while viewed from a previously untreated point of view, and in an attempt to answer the questions: Where does it stem from the religious coexistence in Albania? What are the main promoters of this phenomenon? What has been the attitude of the religious clergy in Albania? Have they been and are the imams and priests, the promotion of tolerance and religious coexistence in Albania? These are some of the questions answered in this modest study, focusing on how nice and with how much delicacy the lectures of the Clergy have addressed this issue to the faithful or to the world in general. Since they enjoyed undisputable reputation and influence in the majority of the population, in the most critical moments of national history, the leaders of Muslims believers, not only have promoted tolerance and religious coexistence, but they have considered the believers of other faiths as “brothers” preaching this conviction in front of their Muslim believers.

Piotr Mulawka Leksykon polskiej i światowej muzyki elektronicznej „Zrealizowano w ramach programu stypendialnego Ministra Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego-Kultura w sieci” Wydawca: Piotr Mulawka [email protected] © 2020 Wszelkie prawa zastrzeżone ISBN 978-83-943331-4-0 2 Przedmowa Muzyka elektroniczna narodziła się w latach 50-tych XX wieku, a do jej powstania przyczyniły się zdobycze techniki z końca XIX wieku m.in. telefon- pierwsze urządzenie służące do przesyłania dźwięków na odległość (Aleksander Graham Bell), fonograf- pierwsze urządzenie zapisujące dźwięk (Thomas Alv Edison 1877), gramofon (Emile Berliner 1887). Jak podają źródła, w 1948 roku francuski badacz, kompozytor, akustyk Pierre Schaeffer (1910-1995) nagrał za pomocą mikrofonu dźwięki naturalne m.in. (śpiew ptaków, hałas uliczny, rozmowy) i próbował je przekształcać. Tak powstała muzyka nazwana konkretną (fr. musigue concrete). W tym samym roku wyemitował w radiu „Koncert szumów”. Jego najważniejszą kompozycją okazał się utwór pt. „Symphonie pour un homme seul” z 1950 roku. W kolejnych latach muzykę konkretną łączono z muzyką tradycyjną. Oto pionierzy tego eksperymentu: John Cage i Yannis Xenakis. Muzyka konkretna pojawiła się w kompozycji Rogera Watersa. Utwór ten trafił na ścieżkę dźwiękową do filmu „The Body” (1970). Grupa Beaver and Krause wprowadziła muzykę konkretną do utworu „Walking Green Algae Blues” z albumu „In A Wild Sanctuary” (1970), a zespół Pink Floyd w „Animals” (1977). Pierwsze próby tworzenia muzyki elektronicznej miały miejsce w Darmstadt (w Niemczech) na Międzynarodowych Kursach Nowej Muzyki w 1950 roku. W 1951 roku powstało pierwsze studio muzyki elektronicznej przy Rozgłośni Radia Zachodnioniemieckiego w Kolonii (NWDR- Nordwestdeutscher Rundfunk). Tu tworzyli: H. Eimert (Glockenspiel 1953), K. Stockhausen (Elektronische Studie I, II-1951-1954), H.
