Després d’aquesta petita “intró”, m’agradaria afegir que no em vull deixar a ningú, però tot pot passar, així que us demano disculpes a aquells que no estiguin entre aquests agraïments, però, si heu format part d’aquest període directa o indirectament, us en dono les gràcies també. Primer de tot, voldria agrair a la Mayte, la meva tutora, el temps que m’ha brindat, així com l’orientació i els consells que m’ha anat donant des de fa 5 anys, durant el treball de fi de carrera, el màster i ara el doctorat. Gràcies per donar-me l’oportunitat d’endinsar-me en el món de la investigació i de confiar en els meus passos, que finalment també formen part dels teus. També vull agrair-te tot l’esforç realitzat al final del trajecte. A pesar de totes les inconveniències que se’ns han presentat, hem pogut tirar-ho endavant. Gràcies per tot. Gràcies també a tots els profes, Montse, Anna, Juan, Cinta, Pepa, Santi, Gerard, Antoni, Teresa, Anna (Arola), Begoña i també al recent nouvingut Manuel (Molta sort!), que gràcies a petits consells, exposicions o xerrades informals he pogut aprendre a ser millor investigador, i en especial al Lluís, per confiar en mi en els primers passos, i al Miquel, qui sempre ha tingut una estona per resoldre qualsevol dubte. A tots els doctorands, companys de batalla, que hem conviscut durant aquests quatre anys començant pels que han passat: David, Helena, Sabina, Fisu, Isa, Gemma, Albert (Guardiola Coach), Esther, i Laura; en especial, un agraïment enorme a la Xim, que va ser la meva mentora al laboratori, ajudant-me en tot i més el que va poder, i amb la qual vaig compartir les meus primers passos al lab. I amb els que ara comparteixo els últims moments a la uni, com l’Anna (gaudeix de la segona), la corredora de fons Cris (sempre treballant), la Ligia, la Laura, l’Aleix (un eivissenc autèntic), l’Ester, la Maria, el Husam (La bar-ba-cooa), la Maria José, la Zara, la Neus (esa futbolista!), l’Adrià, la Noe i l’Anabel (madridista no convençuda, jejeje; i és que el destí vol fer-te canviar d’opinió!!). Junts hem passat aquests quatre anys entre “barbaquius”, dies de platja, nits de farra, sopars de Nadal i, de tant en tant, per què no dir-ho, moments al laboratori (Perquè sí, els doctorands també treballem, jeje). Gràcies per tots els moments! Al CTNS Team, l’Anna, la Shirle, el Josep, i sobretot al Toni: Gràcies per tots els consells i la vostra disposició!! I els bons moments que hem passat, dies de partit (Barça Time), sopars, etc. També van ser molt grans!! We 15 demonstrate by electrochemical and whole-cell electron paramagnetic resonance experiments that 16 Rev-Erbβ exists in the Fe3+ form within the cell essentially allowing the protein to be heme-replete 17 even at low concentrations of labile heme in the nucleus.
