U istraživačkom dijelu ovoga diplomskog rada prikazati će se sličnosti i razlike hrvatske i srpskohrvatske Wikipedije s engleskom Wikipedijom o odabranim ruskim filmovima.

The British band played The World Turned Upside Down as their troops marched into battle. No one knows who fired the first shot, but it soon became the "Shot heard 'round the world." Revolution had come. What more fitting a theme for July 4th than Revolution? In 1992, Kip McKean wrote "Revolution Through Restoration" for Upside Down magazine. In it he describes the beginning of the church in Lexington, Massachusetts, and how it has truly become today's "shot heard 'round the world." This article explains who we are as God's modern-day movement and where we came from, better than any other single piece of which I am aware. For this reason I frequently give a copy to someone with whom I am studying the Bible or to someone from the media who wants to know more about us.

The Perfect Way by Anna Bonus Kingsford and Edward Maitland The Perfect Way or The Finding of Christ by Anna Bonus Kingsford and Edward Maitland Published in 1888 Boston, Mass.: ESOTERIC PUBLISHING COMPANY, 478 Shawmut Avenue. (Revised and Enlarged Edition.) Page 1 The Perfect Way by Anna Bonus Kingsford and Edward Maitland AUTHORS’ EXPLANATION These lectures were delivered in London, before a private audience, in the months of May, June, and July, 1881. The changes made in this edition calling for indication, are, – the substitution of another Lecture for No. V., and consequent omission of most of the plates; the rewriting, in the whole or part, of paragraphs 6 - 8 and 28 in No. I.; 34 - 36 in No. II.; 5 - 8, 12, 13, 22, 23, 42, 43, 54, and 55, in No. IX. (the latter paragraphs being replaced by a new one); the lengthening of Appendices II, and VI; the addition of a new Part to Appendix XIII. (formerly No. IX); and the substitution of eight new Appendices for Nos:. VII., and VIII. The alterations involve no change or withdrawal of doctrine, but only extension of scope, amplification of statement, or modification of expression. A certain amount of repetition being inseparable from the form adopted, – that of a series of expository lectures, each requiring to be complete in itself, – and the retention of that form being unavoidable, – no attempt has been made to deal with the instances in which repetition occurs. PREFACE TO THE AMERICAN EDITION In presenting an American edition of THE PERFECT WAY, or, The Finding of Christ, to the reading and inquiring public, we have been actuated by the conviction that a comprehensive textbook of the “new views,” or the restored wisdom and knowledge of the ages regarding religion or the perfect life, was imperatively required, wherein the subject was treated in a manner luminous, instructive, and entertaining, and which, without abridgement, or inferiority of material or workmanship, could yet be sold at a price that would bring the work within the means of the general public.

Oracles Previous postings from the Wm. Thomas Sherman Info Page 2014. By Wm. Thomas Sherman 1604 NW 70th St. Seattle, WA 98117 206-784-1132 [email protected] http://www.gunjones.com ~~~~~~*~~~~~~ TENETS *If we ever experienced a problem anywhere, it came about, in some degree, due to certain wrong assumptions, either co-present with, or just prior to the given problem’s actually taking place. * Unless you believe in God, the One, and or the infinite, every assumption is contingent. * PROCESS (or if you prefer spirit, or activity) PRECEDES IMAGE. Image may, to some extent, (and sometimes almost perfectly) represent process. But process is always superior to and always more real than image. If process precedes image this might suggest also that mind precedes matter and energy. * Everything we believe, or say we know, is based on a factual or value judgment. Both kinds of judgment always entail the other to some extent, and nothing can be known or exists for us without them. * No fact or purported fact is true or false without someone to assert and believe it to be such. If an assertion or claim is deemed true or false then, and we are thorough, we should ask who is it that says so (or has said so), and what criteria are (were) they using? There is no such thing as “faceless” truth or reality -- at least none we are capable of knowing. * You can’t escape reason. If you aren’t rational yourself, someone else will be rational for you; nor do their intentions toward you need to be friendly or benevolent.

HEAVEN ON EARTH A Treatise On Christian Assurance by Thomas Brooks (1608 - 1680) HEAVEN ON EARTH Thomas Brooks HEAVEN ON EARTH Thomas Brooks, 1667 A serious discourse concerning a well-grounded assurance of men's everlasting happiness and blessedness. Discovering the nature of assurance, the possibility of attaining it, the causes, springs, and degrees of it; with the resolution of several weighty questions. "The greatest thing that we can desire—next to the glory of God—is our own salvation; and the sweetest thing we can desire, is the assurance of our salvation. In this life we cannot get higher, than to be assured of that which in the next life is to be enjoyed. All saints shall enjoy a heaven when they leave this earth; some saints enjoy a heaven while they are here on earth. That saints might enjoy two heavens, is the project of this book." Joseph Caryl. "That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding." Col 2:2. 2 HEAVEN ON EARTH Thomas Brooks Epistle Dedicatory To the Generals of the Fleets of the Commonwealth, The better anything is, the more communicative it will. There are two sorts of goods; there are goods of the throne, as God, Christ, grace, assurance, etc.; and goods of the footstool, as honour, riches, etc. A man may have enough of the goods of the footstool to sink him, but he can never have enough to satisfy him. Man's happiness and blessedness, his felicity and glory, lies in his possessing the goods of the throne, which that you may, I humbly desire you seriously to view over the ensuing treatise.
