Bonus Feats [Paizo Inc. - Core Rulebook] At 1st level, and at every even level thereafter, a fighter gains a bonus feat in addition to those gained from normal advancement (meaning that the fighter gains a feat at every level). These bonus feats must be selected from those listed as combat feats, sometimes also called "fighter bonus feats." Upon reaching 4th level, and every four levels thereafter (8th, 12th, and so on), a fighter can choose to learn a new bonus feat in place of a bonus feat he has already learned. In effect, the fighter loses the bonus feat in exchange for the new one. The old feat cannot be one that was used as a prerequisite for another feat, prestige class, or other ability. A fighter can only change one feat at any given level and must choose whether or not to swap the feat at the time he gains a new bonus feat for the level. Bravery (Ex) [Paizo Inc. - Core Rulebook, p.55] You gain a +1 bonus to Will saves against fear effects. Skilled [Paizo Inc. - Core Rulebook, p.27] Humans gain an additional skill rank at first level and one additional rank whenever they gain a level. Feats Great Fortitude [Paizo Inc. - Core Rulebook, p.124] You are resistant to poisons, diseases, and other deadly maladies. You get a +2 bonus on all Fortitude saving throws. Improved Initiative [Paizo Inc. - Core Rulebook, p.127] Your quick reflexes allow you to react quickly to danger. You get a +4 bonus on initiative checks. Quick Draw [Paizo Inc. - Core Rulebook, p.131] You can draw weapons faster than most. You can draw a weapon as a free action instead of as a move action. You can draw a hidden weapon (see the Sleight of Hand skill) as a move action. A character who has selected this feat may throw weapons at his full normal rate of attacks (much like a character with a bow). Alchemical items, potions, scrolls, and wands cannot be drawn quickly using this feat. Weapon Focus (Longsword) [Paizo Inc. - Core Rulebook, p.136] You are especially good at using your chosen weapon. You gain a +1 bonus on all attack rolls you make using the selected weapon. Oswald was born and raised in the small city of Indilvar, groomed to become a Knight Captain along with his younger brother Creighton and under the command of his eldest brother, Luis. One oathday morning in Calistril, Oswald set off with his brother Creighton on an expedition to meet a band of recruits for his father's slowly growing army. Upon returning to Indivar, they learned that Luis, having been long frustrated with Perivus' lack of political aggression in dealing with surrounding lordships, had staged a coup and murdered their father in and attempt to take the city. Luis condemned his brothers as traitors, and set Indilvar's legion against them. Oswald and Creighton barely escaped the battle that followed, but managed to pull back with most of their band of recruits. From there, they devised a plan for the recruits to attack the city at multiple points during the night, whilst Oswald and Creighton snuck into the city, and into Kaathe Manor. While Creighton fought off Luis' bodyguard, Oswald managed to find and execute Luis, taking back the city. Although victorious, the ordeal took a toll on Oswald, and he no longer felt the connection he once did to his hometown. With his father dead at his brother's hands, he left Creighton to take command of the city, and instead swore an oath to travel the lands, helping people wherever he could. With the silver eagle shield of Indilvar on his back, he set out on his journey... Its purpose is to record my travels along the Way of the Short Staff. I have already prepared a fairly comprehensive and popular webpage on Staff Weapons. During 2009, this webpage will be researched and expanded so as to exclusively focus on my practice and knowledge of the Way of the Short Staff. By "short staff" I mean a straight wooden staff or cane from 30" to 50" long. I welcome suggestions, comments and information from readers about good resources, links, books, pamphlets, videos, DVDs, VCDs, schools, workshops, events, techniques, forms, etc.. Please send your email to Mike Garofalo. In 2009, I will be learning by studying, practicing, and documenting three different styles of the cane.

Lords of the battlefield, fighters are a disparate lot, training with many weapons or just one, perfecting the uses of armor, learning the fighting techniques of exotic masters, and studying the art of combat, all to shape themselves into living weapons. Far more than mere thugs, these skilled warriors reveal the true deadliness of their weapons, turning hunks of metal into arms capable of taming kingdoms, slaughtering monsters, and rousing the hearts of armies. Soldiers, knights, hunters, and artists of war, fighters are unparalleled champions, and woe to those who dare stand against them. Oates Published by The Summer Institute of Linguistics affiliated with The University of North Dakota in cooperation with The Bureau of Public Schools and The Institute of National Language of The Department of Education Manila, Philippines 1955 PREFACE Central Cagayan Negrito is spoken by about 300 Negritos calling themselves Agtas. They live in an area of the Cagayan Valley, northern Luzon, Philip- pines, stretching from Lallo, just south of the mouth of the Cagayan River, to Amulung, just north of Tugue- garao, capital of the province. They are found east of the river in barrios close to the foot of the Sierra Madre Mountains, and westward they extend to the municipality of Rizal. Physically they are of aboriginal stock, dark-skinned, often fuzzy-haired, and close to pygmy size. They are still largely no- madic, living by hunting (with bow and arrow), or for- aging for food, in the forest. Their dwelling places are small wall-less houses, usually two or three to- gether, housing at times up. to thirty individuals: These houses are to be found on the outskirts of out- lying Iloaano barrios. The materials for this vocabulary were collebted monolingually over a Deflect of about seven month& while resident first ats.Nassiping in the municipality of Alcala, and then at Bagunut in the municipality: of Baggao, Cagayan. The chief informants were Alfredo (Pedro) Tumbalii (about 30 years of age), his brother -, Sittong, and the latter's wife - Loring Plemeno. In °Oman with all members of their tribe, the three in- formante speak fluent Ilocano.
