COMMUNITY ADVISORY NOTICE GRINDING EXISTING ASPHALTIC CONCRETE WEARING COURSE PROJECT # HW2CR16B Borough: Manhattan October 17th, 2016 Restrictions to Curbside Parking On/about the week of October 17, 2016 Monday – Friday 6:00pm to 6:00am (NIGHT-TIME WORK OPERATIONS) “NO PARKING” REGULATION ARE IN EFFECT WHEN WILL WORK BE PERFORMED?
The milling work for each location will take approximately 1-2 days. Refer to No Parking signs posted accordingly for specific dates. The anticipated completion date for all the locations listed below is November 10th 2016.
WHERE WILL WORK BE PERFORMED?
Work will be performed at the following locations:

WHAT WORK WILL BE DONE?
Work scheduled on this project includes the milling of streets in preparation for resurfacing by the Roadway Repair & Maintenance (RRM) division. Resurfacing will follow within two (2) weeks (weather permitting).
WHAT ARE THE COMMUNITY IMPACTS?
The DDC is committed to maintaining a work site that is safe and clean. However, dust, noise and heavy equipment are common elements of construction and we ask for your patience during the project. There may be limited street access on certain blocks. However, d eliveries to residential properties and emergency vehicle access will be allowed.
Pedestrian / Traffic
Pedestrian access to buildings will be maintained at all times. Street closures may be required; warning signs will be posted in advance. Driveway access may be temporarily interrupted in order to complete construction.
Public Transportation
If/when necessary, bus stops and/or bus routes may be relocated/detoured during the course of this construction. Signs and directions will be posted noting the changes.
No Parking Notification
Designated “No Parking” signs will be posted in all affected areas for the specific day/days for this work operation. Vehicles, if parked on the street, will be towed to other available parking spots in the vicinity.
WHAT ARE THE HOURS OF WORK?
Typical work hours will be Monday-Friday from 6:00pm to 6:00am.
