Alzheimer’s Society provide a range of friendly support groups for people Memory Café groups are for people affected by dementia, or have affect by dementia; the map indicates where in Gloucestershire they are memory-related concerns. Drop in to share information and experiences with others in a similar situation, or simply have a drink and a chat in a relaxed setting.

® Singing for the Brain groups are for people with a confirmed dementia diagnosis, and use music and song to bring people together in a friendly environment. It is a way for people with dementia to Bishops Cleeve express themselves and socialise with others in a fun and supportive setting. A friend or loved one is welcome to attend, and no previous Bourton-on-the-Water singing experience is necessary! Shurdington Harrow Hill

Notes Please make note of the start time for each group, and avoid arriving too early to the venue. This is to ensure we have time to prepare the room and volunteers are briefed on relevant matters beforehand.

Unless stated, all of our support groups are free to attend.

Groups are facilitated by members of staff from Alzheimer's Society and/or trained volunteers.

We are unable to offer transport or personal care at our groups. Art Group (Fortnightly on Tuesday) Singing for the Brain® An activity group that for people with dementia along a friend, relative or carer to enjoy a variety of art forms including drawing, painting, collage Bishops Cleeve (First & third Thursday of the month) and pottery. No experience required!
