Community Hospitals - Overview APPENDIX ONE : Community Hospitals - Overview The Trust manages seven community hospitals across the county, namely: Cirencester Hospital; North Cotswolds Hospital; Stroud General Hospital; Vale Community Hospital; Tewkesbury Community Hospital; Dilke Memorial Hospital; Lydney and District Hospital. Additionally, the Trust provides services within Winchcombe and Fairford. Inpatient wards Adult inpatient services currently have capacity across twelve bedded units and eight sites. Outpatients Adult and children’s outpatient services are provided in all the Trust’s community hospitals – these are planned consultations which may include diagnostic tests such as x-ray where applicable. Specialties that are provided in an outpatient setting include Audiology, Back Pain Clinic, Continence, Stoma and Diabetic Nurse. Additionally, service users have access to specialists in Dermatology, Diabetes, Dietetics, Dermatology, ECG Clinic, ENT, Elderly Care, Gastroenterology, General Medicine, General Surgery, Gynaecology, Heart Failure Service, Menopause Clinic, Midwifery, Multiple Sclerosis, Nephrology, Smoking Cessation, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Optometrist, Orthotics, Orthopaedics, Pain Clinic, Paediatrics, Podiatry Rheumatology, Speech Therapy, Substance Misuse, Thoracic, Trauma and Orthopaedics including Fracture Clinic and Urology. Outpatient services are provided either directly by Trust clinicians, or by external clinicians (ostensibly, clinicians from Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust) using Trust services and facilities. 2 Gloucestershire Care Services NHS Trust Community hospital overview The number of outpatients appointments in community hospitals over the 12 month period July 2014 to June 2015 is illustrated below (excluding Winchcombe): 700 600 500 Cirencester Dilke 400 Lydney North Cots Stroud 300 Tewkesbury Vale Fairford 200 100 0 3. Adult day case services performed in theatre These are services which are performed under either local or general anaesthetic. They are also provided by Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust using Trust services and facilities. Surgery undertaken includes gynaecology, oral surgery, orthopaedics, plastic surgery, podiatric surgery etc. 5. Assessment and rehabilitation units The ARUs house occupational therapy teams and physiotherapists, and also offer access to gyms for treatment and to enable rehabilitation. 6.     The Painswick Beacon Sine praeiudicio Volume 33 Number 5 August 2010 Artsfest There can be few who are unaware of Painswick currently presenting its creativity in exemplary fashion. Last Saturday heralded in no uncertain 'fashion', to those who live here, and more importantly to hundreds of those who live elsewhere, the scope of talent we are inclined to take for granted. We witnessed the 'flip side' of the doldrums which afflicted this community across recent times, with such devastating effect, floods with lengthy highway reconstruction, horrendous winter conditions all but isolating this village, and then the essential but wholly inconvenient replacement of the gas main straight through the heart of the settlement. Just as art and craft reaches the peak season, and as Painswick is the chosen location for exhibition of the highest skills in so many aspects of creativity, a truly memorable new approach to trumpeting that month or so had been devised in the form of a show-casing of 'Wearable Art'. The imagination of over 30 who responded that day to interpret design and extravagantly imaginative creations, whether bizarre or even just humorous, all compered by Keith Allen, fully lived up to expectations; a challenge to repeat in future years. Three main themes set were 'Lamb to Loom', 'Queen of the Cotswolds', and 'Power Dressing', but an additional challenge was on offer in the 'Bra-tastic' - creation of a bra which lived up to the wildest of dreams. The Beacon suggests they all X-celled. Coupled with the peels of bells from St Mary's, Morris Dancers, busking and jazz guitarists, the closure of central streets and dual focus upon Victoria Square and The Cross enabled all to be show-cased and the public to enjoy the 'production' to the full.

Site Specific Baseline, September 2014 Berkeley Site, Issue 3 Page 2 of 18 STRATEGIC ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT Site Specific Baseline – September 2014 Berkeley Site Berkeley Gloucestershire GL13 9PA Berkeley Site Berkeley Site (hereafter referred to as the Site) is twin reactor Magnox station undergoing decommissioning, and is located close to the town of Berkeley in the Stroud District of Gloucestershire, South West England. It is situated on the eastern bank of the River Severn, from which it drew cooling water supplies during its operational phase. The site covers an area of 11 hectares (27 including Berkeley Centre).1a The following describes the key dates for the site: Construction of the site commenced in 1957, and electricity was first supplied to the grid in 1962.1 The site ceased electricity generation in 1989 after 27 years of operation.1 Defuelling of the reactors was completed in 1992.1 Additional funds have been made available to Berkeley Site as part of Magnox Optimised Decommissioning Plan (MODP), so certain areas of work have been accelerated to facilitate entry to Care and Maintenance (C&M) by the anticipated date.2 Both of the reactor buildings were put into the Safestore state in 2010.b The Care and Maintenance Preparations (C&MP) phase of the decommissioning process is scheduled to be completed in 2021 at which point the site will enter the Care and Maintenance (C&M) phase.2 Final Site Clearance (FSC) is scheduled to commence at the end of the C&M phase.

Those who use the estuary need to be aware of the dangers and ready to deal with them safely. Since 1889 the Gloucester Harbour Trustees have regulated navigation and provided aids in the estuary to assist in the safe passage of all craft, whether commercial shipping or sailing dinghies. The Gloucester Harbour is the formal name given to a defined area for which the Gloucester Harbour Trustees is the conservancy, harbour and local lighthouse authority.
